Main Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations in line with FCA complaint handling rules and company guidance.
• Keep customers informed throughout the complaint process using the complaint management system.
• Utilise the complaints system for accurate reporting and enable Root Cause Analysis.
• Collaborate with departments (Legal & Compliance) to ensure obligations are met for fair customer outcomes.
• Maintain high standards in customer communications reflecting brand values.
• Manage complex complaints, including those from vulnerable customers and social media escalations, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform Quality Assurance on Subject Access Requests (SARs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data protection.

Qualifications & Experience

• Essential: Full PC literacy, proven stakeholder management, ability to meet strict deadlines, and understanding of TCF, FCA, and FOS regulations. Experience in a complaints environment, preferably in financial services.

This role is a temporary assignment currently until mid next year.

The hours are based around Monday - Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM working a 35-hour week paying £12.75 per hour.

Epilepsy Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Department: Neurology - Medicine

Due to service expansion we are seeking an experienced, motivated and energetic individual to join our neurology service as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for Epilepsy. To be part of the team leading MKUH towards a higher level of clinical excellence and continually be part of improving service delivery for our patients.

This rapidly expanding modern and busy service has led to investment into the service to ensure effective and timely patient care. This developing service is supported by the forward-thinking medicine division.

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with demonstrable clinical experience and qualifications within the field of epilepsy and who is able to function well in a team as well as under their own initiative and who can respond to changing service priorities with this patient group.

We are looking for an individual who is autonomous and will run outpatient clinics with the support of the consultant team, alongside ward referrals. You will also be an active member of the Neurology team supporting patients and their families through their treatment and beyond.

You will deliver and support high standards of clinical care both as a direct care giver and indirectly through the support and education of the wider workforce.

Act as Nurse Specialist in Epilepsy to promote good practice in the diagnosis, treatment and care of people with epilepsy

Take the nursing lead in providing a seamless, high-quality service to people with epilepsy both in the hospital and community

Provide support, advice and education to patients, families and carers

Undertake research into epilepsy and continuing personal and professional development

Non-medical prescriber for defined clinical need within sphere of competence

Demonstrates and establishes a relationship of trust with patients, carers and families

Demonstrates expertise when dealing with complex patients, who require new skills, to live with epilepsy

Communicates and agrees with the patient, carer and family the determined plan of care, which can be complex and sensitive
