A permanent opportunity has arisen in the Outpatients Directorate for a full time Deputy Service Manager to join our busy Outpatients service across the directorate.

We require a proactive proactive and hardworking staff to work as part of a team in a production line environment within Linen Services.

To be part of a dedicated and highly motivated team of staff undertaking a number of different tasks which include the handling of soiled linen, the decontamination of linen in accordance with HTM01-04, folding and packing of clean linen either manually or utilising equipment, working in various locations within the laundry to ensure a high quality service is delivered to meet the needs of the service users.

This will include attending to minor equipment faults / issues such as resets and stock replenishment, car park patrols, responding to queries from car park users, receiving payments etc. To support NUH staff with minor ID card / access control issues outside of the Access Control Office opening times. To be knowledgeable with Trust policies, procedures and to be able to offer guidance where necessary. Whilst on duty you are required to be smartly dressed at all times wearing only Trust approved items of uniform which you will be provided with. It is the responsibility of all officers to maintain the cleanliness of their work base. It is the responsibility of all staff to display their ID badge at all times whilst on duty.
