The Offender Health Care Group is one of the largest and most successful providers of prison healthcare in the UK. The Care Group provide physical, mental health and substance misuse healthcare services in prisons across the East Midlands, Lincolnshire & Leicestershire. The Care Group provides healthcare to 7 prisons and a short term holding facility. You are part of a large peer group of 400+ healthcare professionals with access to peer support, supervision and excellent opportunities for learning and development. We also offer services within the Personality Disorder Pathway, including Therapeutic Communities (within prisons), Community and Prison Personality Disorder services and specialist Veteran Services. Chairing clinical team meetings, convening and chairing CPA meetings and leadership of the MDT. Providing timely reports to Tribunals, Hospital Managers, Ministry of Justice, Courts etc. Liaison with medium secure and other units, prisons, Commissioners and Ministry of Justice in relation to the care pathway of patients under their care. Convening and chairing Section 117 meetings. The post-holder will provide Deaf In-reach services as part of a multidisciplinary team. This will provide support, monitoring and advice to patients. The post-holder will be supported in maintaining his or her CPD status in line with Royal College, GMC and appraisal expectations. Peer Groups are available to join both within the hospital and the wider Trust. The post-holder will be expected to join a Peer Group, as per the Royal College of Psychiatrists requirements. There is an active Postgraduate Programme including Case Conferences, Journal Clubs and visiting lecturers at Rampton Hospital. The post-holder will be expected to actively participate in the Postgraduate Programme. Appropriate funding and time will be made available to the appointee for the study leave required to maintain continuing professional development, including the development of any special interests whichthe post-holder may have. Participate in and contribute to the development of clinical governance, quality assurance and audit, with support from the Audit Department where appropriate.Contribute to plans for ongoing service development and lead service development for the National Deaf Service under the Clinical Director. Share administrative duties including provision of information, data and reports required for management of services. Be an active member of medical staffing structures. For the National Deaf Service there will be an expectation that the post-holder will provide guidance and support to the Clinical Director on matters relating to the National Deaf Service. The post holder is expected to provide leadership for all aspects of the National Deaf Service and have an outward facing management and leadership role regarding the National Deaf Service with the support of the Clinical Director for the Mental Health and Deaf Service. Provide clinical and managerial supervision to non-consultant career grade doctors on the team (these doctors are line managed by the Associate Medical Director).

Our College has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, innovative and dynamic lecturer to join the Aviation, Travel and Tourism team at its flagship City Hub campus. We are looking for someone who can inspire our students and provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment for a diverse range of students.

As part of this role, you will support a dynamic team to provide an outstanding student experience in all aspects of the development of the curriculum teaching and support in the delivery of a fast paced, curriculum area. The Faculty Area covers a wide breadth of curriculum levels from pre-16 and entry level through to adult provision and Higher Education.

What you’ll bring

A key focus of this role will be in driving the quality of the provision and the curriculum offer to meet the needs of our students, employers, and stake holders. Developing students’ opportunities for progression and developing readiness for employment will also be a critical factor of this role. The successful candidate will be required to liaise across other faculty areas; support services; admissions; English and maths and pastoral services to support the learner experience. If you hold an assessor/IQA award this would be an advantage but is not necessary.
