About The Role
As a Regional Admissions Co-ordinator at HC-One you’ll be responsible for driving new and existing business into homes across the area, whilst building and sustaining high occupancy in line with the homes’ commercial strategy with an emphasis on private pay admissions and public pay admissions with a 3rd party top-up.
Main Activities

- Develop and implement sales, marketing and awareness programmes that ensure high levels of awareness and profile of the home within the local community; specifically, amongst the target market who will have the personal and family financial means to be a private fee payer.
- Present and share ideas for increasing revenue to AD & CBP to deliver overall Area occupancy growth.
- Monitor and report any identified barriers that have led to lost revenue opportunities.
- Generate Resident enquiries through networking in the local community and supporting the enquirers throughout the process from maintaining regular contact, arranging viewings and assessments, conducting tours, welcoming those who choose to live in the care home as they are admitted and liaising with them and their families throughout their stay.
- Organise events in the care homes in the area that are appropriate to the target audience so that they attract local private pay Residents to enquire to the home and position it as a first-choice care home within its local community.
- Local networking to identify key local public opinion leaders, influencers and referrers and building up contacts databases to support you in promoting the home i.e. people you will invite to events, send newsletters to, meet in the community.
- Identify local community publications that are read by the same target audience we are promoting our care homes to.
- Support the Care Home Managers in your area in setting and maintaining high standards in the presentation of front of house, public areas and Resident areas.
- Set out a route for visitor care home tours and ensuring a high standard, quality view bedroom is available.
- Work with the central marketing team to arrange for advertising, mailshots and other local awareness campaigns that will help generate enquiries across the care homes you support.
- Support Home Administrator to manage Care Home enquiries from initial point of contact whether direct to the Care Homes or via our central support enquiry team. You will carry out training within the Care Home to ensure enquiry capture both in and out of office hours is being achieved by care staff. You will be required to follow up enquiries and arrange tours of the care home.
- Visit local health and social care settings, community organisations and other influencers to build relationships that will generate enquiries developing an inner and outer circle of contacts to achieve this.
- Work closely with the wellbeing coordinators to organise events within the homes to the benefit of Residents to help them live fulfilling and meaningful lives. You will research local advertorial opportunities to ensure the Care Homes are achieving maximum exposure within the relevant catchment areas. You will make sure that the marketing materials reflect the home to its highest standards.
- Use your hospitality or customer care skills to ensure staff are given training in the delivery of the expected standards. You will be the key contact for Residents and their families to provide solutions to any problems that arise, this will involve liaising with the Home Managers, Area Director and RQUILS.
- Generate content for home level social media pages, building links, and awareness, ensuring regular content features.
- Support Wellbeing Co-Ordinators to produce the home newsletter.
- To provide training to appropriate colleagues on ‘how to take a good enquiry’ and ‘how to arrange and deliver a professional tour the home’
- To generate care home reviews
- Monitor daily financial budgets, occupancy (funded vs private pay) and enquiries. You will also have to complete weekly/monthly reports detailing the day-to-day movements within the care home and its effect on the enquiries/occupancy/financial status of the care home.
- Generate positive news stories and write up for sign up and sign off.
- Monitor and interpret management information undertaking comprehensive analysis to highlight and identify commercial successes and opportunities.

Lead and ensure staff participation in the formulation of new ideas/ suggestions to improve service user care and service delivery. Investigate complaints and incidents in accordance with Trust policy. Undertake Serious Untoward Incident investigations/reviews as required. Ensure that all staff are regularly updated and have knowledge of all emergency procedures. Active participation in multidisciplinary decision-making process regarding patient care in the capacity of an autonomous clinician. CLINICAL To lead the development of the Service and ensure a high level of clinical leadership within the given area of expertise to other staff within the Service. To provide a specialist liaison mental health screening assessment, including risk assessment and differential diagnosis, using diagnostic criteria, assessment tools and rating scales. Independently assess, plan and identify mental health needs, facilitate appropriate care and treatment. Non-Medical Prescribing: Registered practitioners who are Non-Medical Prescribers are accountable for their prescribing activities by ensuring they are aware of their professional accountability and any restrictions or special considerations in their prescribing practice. Qualified Non-Medical Prescribers must register their qualification with their Professional Body and with the Trust Database in accordance with the Trust Non-Medical Prescribing procedure. Supplementary prescribers must work within Clinical Management Plans in close association with a medical practitioner. To acting in a consultative capacity as a specialist mental health clinician within the general hospital setting and team, to include advice on medication and contributing to diagnosis. Supporting the development of a skilled and flexible workforce, supporting junior staff to achieve their full potential in line with the Liaison Competency and Nursing career framework. Take an active role in education in line with key performance indicators To develop and maintain partnership working with a wide range of statutory and voluntary agencies. Effective and autonomous management of clinical caseload. Making unsupervised decisions in respect of patients clinical priority and the suitability for inclusion into and discharge from specialist mental health services. To act in accordance with infection control policies of the Trust due to frequent exposure to and contact with infectious conditions and substances. Advise on manual transferring, mobilising and transporting of patients. Give/receive regular clinical supervision as per Trust policy. COMMUNICATION AND ORGANISATIONAL To engage in a high level of communication with Senior Management both in the Trust and services in the community. The post holder will be pivotal in ensuring the co-ordination of multiple services to ensure discharges are appropriate and facilitated in a timely manner, and will be organise, manage and develop comprehensive discharge plans with community services. To deal effectively with issues which are frequently confrontational and complex requiring the use of skills in sensitivity, diplomacy and negotiation. Adapt communication to take account of others culture, background and preferred way of communicating. Provide feedback to others on their communication where appropriate shares and engages thinking with others. Maintain the highest standards of integrity when communicating with patients and the wider public EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT Organise and undertake ward based teaching where appropriate ensuring that the environment is suitable for student nurse placements. Lead and support the implementation of evidence based practice in line with current research. Work closely with Education Facilitator to assist skills acquisition and facilitate workforce planning and development. Coordinate preceptorship and mentorship for all staff including those in training. Demonstrate the acquisition and application of knowledge in line with current research and evidence-based practice. Undertake appropriate continuing professional development. Promote a positive learning environment by contributing to teaching, training and supervision of junior staff and learners within the organisation. Provide evidence to support development around the Trust Appraisal system which may include the KSF or other competency profiles. Design and deliver an ongoing programme of formal mental health education in conjunction with post graduate teaching department to all professional staff within the acute hospital setting. Provide regular service awareness sessions for staff across hospital settings. Provide evidence to support development around the Trust appraisal system which includes KSF. Participate in regular supervision, engage in reflective practice and be committed to continued development. Develop own skills and knowledge and contribute to the development of others. SERVICE DEVELOPMENT To develop, implement and review liaison service operational policies. To ensure both Trusts receive outcome monitoring data. To establish implement and review patient care pathways/protocols and practice guidelines. To develop competencies in self and which safeguard practice and effectiveness of role. Effectively manage allocated/available resources. To complete six monthly statistical review of service activity and report to service manager. Contribute to strategic forums as directed. RESEARCH AUDIT Ensure staff awareness of Clinical and Corporate Governance and the need for research-based practice. Undertake and participate in appropriate audit, quality assurance programmes and research as directed.

Flowline, a division of FM Conway, is looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team working from our Bishop's Stortford depot on a full time, permanent basis. As our HGV Class 2 Driver you will work as part of a two-person team to carry out a range of services including cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of drains.

Duties of the HGV Class 2 Driver role:

- Conducting all areas of drainage work, including high pressure water jetting (HPWJ) and CCTV surveys works

- Attending drainage related issues, including emergency callouts to deal with blockages or cleaning pipes during regular maintenance programmes

- Recording and feeding back works undertaken and any further works required

- Providing reports using our app system

What we’re looking for in our HGV Class 2 Driver

We are looking for candidates who have a class 2 licence and full CPC. You will enjoy working as part of a team and will have a strong concern for health and safety. We will consider applicants with no previous drainage experience as we are able to offer full training.
