We are looking for a unique individual to support with the difficult task of changing the bandages of our 15 year male client who suffers from a chronic skin condition called Epidermolysis bullosa (EB). The client has bandages over the majority of his body which are covering open wounds and blisters which require specific care to avoid infection. This is an extremely painful procedure and the client has specific pain medication prescribed to help with this. There will also always be a carer present who knows the client well to provide him with emotional support and reassurance throughout the process. This task is currently completed by his Dad who understandably finds it very difficult and, now his son is older would like to be able to train up someone else to support with this task. We are looking for:

• someone who is committed long term as training could take up to 6 months before the person is confident in doing this task alone.
• someone who is able to focus on the task at hand and remain detached from their feeling and emotions.
• We are looking to recruit a small team of carers on 2 week rolling rota covering Monday to Sunday, Days and Nights (depending on availability).You must be able to work alternate weekends.

• Shifts: Monday - Sunday, Days and Nights (Days: 9am to 1pm or 8am to 12pm) (Nights: 21.15pm to 7.15am)

Theory and Practical training will be provided free of charge to ensure you have the correct skills and knowledge to support this service user's needs. What are your duties as a Healthcare Assistant in this package?

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months professional care experience
• The right to work in the UK and have the correct documentation for this

As a Junior Sous Chef you will be key part of a large team of over 30 Chefs on site and involved in working in the open fire kitchen, supporting the Head Chef with the day to day running of this unique restaurant.

Producing food to the highest standards is essential and with the luxury of the in-house dairy, farm, and large allotment the majority of the produce you use will be sourced from the estate itself. Alternatively, if the demand is greater than what the estate can produce the hotel will only buy from local, sustainable suppliers who follow the same believes of creating a greener future.

The Kitchen open plan and customer facing, with a small plates concept cooking over open fire using produce that is sourced from the estate (where possible). As well the restaurant you will be based in the hotel also has one other restaurant which has recently won a Michelin Green Star for its sustainability.
