Job Role:

• To be support to qualified psychologist and trainee psychologist to implement the psychological pathway treatment plan and the quality of the psychology service provided following the model of care agreed.

We have a vacancy for an Administrative Assistant to join the Quality and Regulatory Team here at the Southampton Clinical Trials Unit (SCTU).

The SCTU, is based on the Southampton General Hospital site and manages a growing portfolio of multi-centre clinical trials that will directly influence routine clinical practice and benefit patients.

Ensuring that clinical trials meet high regulatory standards and prioritising patient safety is integral to the running of the SCTU. Your role will be in maintaining and developing vital quality and regulatory systems. Tasks will include: liaison with internal and external clinical research teams; tracking, reporting and filing of quality documents, supporting pharmacovigilance tasks; and setting up new systems to complement those already in place.

The successful applicant must have strong English communication skills, with excellent attention to detail including high standards of accuracy. They will be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills with the knowledge and ability to understand and rationalise problems. The right candidate should be able to follow standard procedures and enter information accurately into in-house databases. It would be desirable to have an understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical trial regulations, although full training will be given to the right candidate.

The Southampton Clinical Trials Unit is a UKCRC registered CTU and is core-funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and Cancer Research UK (CRUK). We are located within the state-of-the-art Centre for Cancer Immunology building at Southampton General Hospital.

This full-time position is available on a 24-month fixed term contract in the first instance. Part time hours (minimum 0.8FTE) will be considered, and discussed at interview stage. If you are good at building a rapport with a wide range of people, own a positive outlook and have a UK driving license, then our hybrid Sales Assistant with Driving Duties role at Dulux Decorator Centre is for you. This role is all about providing great customer service to professionals & DIY enthusiasts, in store and when carrying out deliveries to homes and businesses.

The role

This is a full time 40 hr per week role, and you need to be available to work shifts between 7am and 5pm Mon-Fri. You will also work some Saturday shifts (8am to 4pm) on a rotational basis, to which you will have time off in lieu the following week if possible.

You will spend up to 20% of your time driving and the remainder in-store as a sales colleague, so it is important that you have a background in sales and retail

• Mix paint to customer requirements
• Engage with customers and provide product advice
• Deliver orders to customers
• Collaborate with colleagues to reach store targets
• Follow the merchandising plan to restock the shop floor
• Provide feedback to improve our overall service to customers
• Carry out daily and weekly van inspections & report any concerns
• Provide great customer service
