Job Title: Senior Social Worker - 2 Posts
Location: Langlee Centre, Galashiels
Hours: 2 x 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary*: £22.98 - £24.82 per hour / £41,950.13 - £45,308.13 per annum
Qualifications: Appropriate Social Work qualification at degree or diploma level (DipSW). Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is essential.**

The Role
As a result of significant investment, and in order to provide timely, effective, empowering and relationship-based responses to children, young people and families, we are looking to expand a number of Children and Families Social Work teams in Scottish Borders.
The initial expansion includes a focus on:
A shift towards prevention and early intervention, introducing an increased and more responsive staffing model within the Duty Intake Team.
As part of this service expansion, we are looking to recruit:
Senior Social Workers, who will be responsible for providing professional practice supervision and caseload management, effectively analysing referral information, providing advice and support to the team, and liaising with multi-agency colleagues.
