Who are we?

TfGM has an exciting and ambitious Rail Programme with over £100m of investment in rail stations infrastructure over the next 4 years. TfGM’s plans include making Greater Manchester’s rail network step free by delivering a significant Access for All (AFA) Programme, delivering the first new station in Greater Manchester in over 25 years at Golborne and, supporting the integration of rail into the Bee Network.

Working as a Projects and Programme Manager within the Projects Group Function you will be working at a senior level within the existing Rail Delivery Team (currently a team of 14 project delivery colleagues) and function to provide management, leadership and direction.

You will also have demonstrable leadership experience of multi-disciplinary project teams, consultants and contractors, with strong problem solving and negotiation skills to meet funding and schedule targets.

You will have a track record of building productive working relationships and have the ability to engage with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, and partners including political, professional and public audiences.

With strong verbal and written presentation skills, you should be able to communicate transport solutions at all levels, working across technical and non-technical issues.

We're looking for a Customs Manager to join our Supply Chain and Logistics team. In this role we'll look to you to manage all customs related activity, making sure all imports and exports by Co-op and Nisa are compliant with regulations. You'll make sure the business is operationally ready to adopt any changes required by future legislative change, and that regulatory measures are always met. You'll lead a team of analysts and administrators in this fast-paced role, sharing your knowledge and successfully delivering priorities across Supply Chain and Logistics.

What you'll do

• Scan for legislative change, that will impact imports and exports as well as customs clearance, interpret it and lead a team to deliver relevant change to accommodate it
• Collaborate with the Co-op Public Affairs, Regulatory and Taxation teams to engage with the UK government agencies to understand and influence policy developments in relation to importing and exporting goods
• Work collaboratively with other business areas to drive any required business or process change due to legislative changes to make sure we remain fully customs-compliant
• Be aware and understand the key customs risks to the Co-op and continuously improve processes
• Look after improvements and management of critical master data to facilitate timely and accurate customs declarations
• Provide technical expertise and thought leadership in customs import and export across Co-op and Nisa
• Coach and develop a team of Customs Analysts whilst establishing a culture of continuous improvements and quality assurance and manage the compliance performance of Co-op and Nisa's customs agents
• Be responsible for Co-op and Nisa as required to make sure imports and exports are compliant

Legal Case Manager
From £25,000 plus incentive scheme up to £2,500 after probation, with excellent benefits and progression opportunities (Work Level 6B)

We're looking for case managers to join our Co-op Legal Services probate team. You don't need legal experience for this role, as we'll provide full training to get you up to speed.

In this role, you'll provide legal and administrative support to our customers following a bereavement. We'll look to you to manage each case from beginning to end, discussing the estate of the deceased, and keeping in continuous contact with the customer.
