The Role

As a Design Manager, you will manage the design process for a variety of construction projects to achieve on-time, on-budget results.

Leading the project design phase, you will provide technical support and advise on design issues, maintain compliance with regulations and support the Commercial Department in identifying potential returns from design changes.

You’ll also oversee Health & Safety principles in design, fire safety plans, building control compliance and sustainability standards.

Additionally, you will:

- Ensure successful project delivery from estimation to handover
- Conduct site assessments and review topographical surveys, drainage and structural calculations
- Manage project value engineering and site setup plans
- Assist Contract and Site Managers with design and interface challenges

About You

To be considered as our Design Manager, you will need:

- Experience in design management for a contractor
- Experience working on several projects simultaneously
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Knowledge of SMART Waste, BREEAM and building regulations
- An understanding of NHBC standards

- An architecture or construction related degree or equivalent qualification
- A full, valid driving licence

Join our One Great Team here at Haven as a Food & Beverage Outlets Manager, where your leadership skills will ensure every guest enjoys exceptional service and tasty treats from our F&B outlets! 

In this role, you'll be at the heart of an energetic F&B team, leading with clear direction and plenty of motivation. You'll inspire your team to hit their goals and keep up high standards by showing them how it’s done! You'll be hands-on with performance, offering feedback to help your team grow, tackling any challenges, and supporting their development. Managing resources like budgets and tools will be key to keeping things running smoothly. You'll also be the driving force behind fantastic guest experiences, continuously improving how we interact and solving any issues that pop up. Plus, you'll make sure everything stays safe, compliant, and on point with company policies and brand standards. This role involves managing multiple pop-up outlets including Cooks Fish & Chip’s, Costa Tuk Tuk, and Berties Ice Cream.   

Key Responsibilities    
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.     
Guest Experience: Ensure top-tier guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, improving service, and driving a welcoming atmosphere.     
Performance Management: Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.     
Resource Management: Oversee staff scheduling, budgets, and resources to maximise efficiency and meet business needs.     
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and standards.     
Problem Solving: Quickly resolve any operational issues that arise, ensuring smooth day-to-day running.     
Training and Development: Support staff development through ongoing training, mentoring, and creating growth opportunities.     

Requirements     
- Proven experience in roles such as Duty Manager, Store Manager, or a similar leadership role within the food service or retail industry.   
- Strong leadership and communication skills.    
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.    
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.    
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.    
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.    
- Experience in budgeting and financial management.

Retail Stocktaking Team Leader

Salary: Up to £33,480 (£29,000-£30,000 plus £290 per month car allowance)

Location: Bournemouth

As a Retail Stocktaking Team Leader you will take accountability for managing teams of up to 60 stock counters, delivering the end to end stock taking service while on our client's sites. We require flexible availability, as the shift lengths may vary and you will be travelling to a different client site each day. You may occasionally be expected to stay away from home.

Days: Monday - Sunday (5 in 7 day working shift pattern)

Hours of Work: Evening/Night shifts.
