The purpose of this role is to lead the CPMS operations across Devonport with accountability for customer relationships, operational performance, people leadership and transformation.
Reporting to the Contract Director, this role will be accountable for complex set of MoD and commercial customers; a cost base of approximately £30m; and variable revenues of £5m. The role will also be responsible for executing the transformation of our operations across the contract, including driving consistency and operational efficiency, playing a pivotal role in the preparation for the seamless introduction of DMS-NG.
Main accountabilities:



- Responsible for leading the delivery of operational performance of the CPMS operation across Devonport and for maintaining a safe, secure and ethical business.
- Sustain and develop Serco’s presence in the marketplace as the supplier of choice for holistic Port Marine Services Operations.
- Drive operational excellence across the dockyard operations, including consistency, best practice and benchmarking of common operational and management processes.
- Developing and delivering a revised organisational structure with a view to Moving to a service delivery driven method,
- Provide leadership to Serco personnel such that all employees understand and adopt wider business strategy/plans and values such that they are engaged within their local teams and wider marine business.
- Own and manage/direct the customer relationships and stakeholder management for Devonport, Portsmouth and Faslane Royal Navy customers, senior MoD customers (including deputising for the FPMS Contract Director), and commercial customers.
- Accountable and responsible for a cost base of approximately £5million and variable revenues of approximately £30million.
- Play a critical role in shaping the operations to the ultimate success of the introduction of DMS-NG
- SME support to business development strategies and overarching maritime priorities to meet growth targets.

What you’ll need to do the role:


- Educated to post graduate degree level or with demonstrable evidence of equivalence through management experience and achievement.
- Previous experience of operating in Maritime Regulatory environment or similar highly regulated environment and fully conversant with operating within Safety Management Systems or 5 years leadership experience in an operational regulated environment.

Job Purpose

To ensure a strong, effective and profitable delivery of the full range of recruitment services provided by the Company to an assigned contract(s) in line with the agreed SLA / KPI's. Accountabilities & Responsibilities

4. Forecasting and Management of Requirements - Obtain and fully understand the client forecasted labour requirement. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the local labour market including competitor information to be able to drive intelligent candidate attraction. Where such is a requirement of the contract / regional structure, effectively plan recruitment and manage the labour pool to ensure candidate flow is understood and fill rates are achieved. Where necessary and agreed, communicate with the NRC and/or other Group providers to support candidate flow. Develop and maintain strong links and relationships with local Job Centres and Work Placement Providers. Continuous communication with our client to provide comprehensive updates on candidate pool/flow with clear identification of any potential shortfall

5. Relationship Management - Build and maintain a strategic relationship with our client based upon partnership. Gain a thorough understanding of our clients issues, goals and desires to ensure appropriate solutions are delivered. Identify and realise any additional cross selling opportunity within the contract and opportunities to introduce services provided by other Group brands

6. Compliance and H&S - Ensure that all activities meet with Company and client policy, procedure and relevant legislation. Drive and promote good health and safety practices to ensure that any risk is minimised. Conduct regular audits to ensure 100% conformance of the contract(s)

7. Colleague Management, Support and Welfare - Ensure the engagement of our workforce by fostering a culture of fairness, transparency and consistency. Monitor conduct, performance and attendance to ensure such is being adequately addressed and identify any issues that may need to be escalated to Human Resources. Summary of the role

Researchers at the University of Exeter help to shape and improve public policy, organisational process and procedure, public debate and understanding. Our researchers work with ministerial and non-ministerial departments, government agencies and public bodies, local authorities, third sector and advocacy organisations, in order to improve decision-making at regional, national and international level.

The Policy Engagement Manager will work at the interface between academia and policy, to ensure University of Exeter researchers can make a valuable contribution to policy-making and support strategic activities to maximise the policy impact of the University’s research strengths. While the post is firmly rooted in Exeter Innovation, this work of the Policy Engagement Manager is linked to and flows through Policy@Exeter, the University’s policy engagement function. As Policy@Exeter EI lead, the Policy Engagement Manager works closely with the Policy@Exeter Director, promoting Exeter's world-class research externally to policy makers regionally and nationally.



Main purpose of the job:

Building on the University’s successful track record of policy engagement and public affairs, the post holder will work closely with researchers at all career levels across the three university faculties and all campuses in Exeter and Cornwall - to help connect them with a variety of external partners in the government and policy ecosystem and thus to create positive research impact. You will work as part of a team of managers, helping run two busy convenience stores. You will be serving customers and assisting with deliveries and stock control and generally keeping the store looking well-presented and clean. You will be responsible for opening and closing the shop, ordering stock and ensuring all shop takings are recorded accurately. Role Description This is an exciting and valuable full time role for a team lead within a busy service, providing invaluable assessments to families and adults. This is a hybrid role located in Harrogate for a suitably qualified clinician working as a team lead within the Evolve Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team for adults and Children referred for Autism and/ or ADHD assessments via NHS Patient choice and their GP. The role requires conducting and overseeing comprehensive specialist assessments including diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected Autism and/ or ADHD using established diagnostic tools. Assessments of Mental health conditions may also be required. Assessments are undertaken on behalf of the NHS via GP referral. The clinician is also responsible for writing up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner, as well as providing appropriate recommendations and interventions. Additionally, the clinician will be involved in supervising and supporting junior staff members.
