Assist the Electric or Gas Transmission, Distribution, or Natural/Environmental Resource operations under the direction of PG&E Representatives. The job entails ensuring circuit reliability, public safety, project goals and customer satisfaction are met in a professional and cost-effective manner Support VM or Land Operations through scheduling, working on process improvement initiatives, and coordination. Provide leadership to vegetation management team members to ensure focus on the group’s objectives. Serve as communications liaison among third party contractors and the utility. . Act as the technical consultant to teams/groups as required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with difficult customers at the direction of the Program Manager (customer complaints, refusals, difficult access, agencies)
• At the direction of the PG&E Representative clarify expectations and program direction for PI and TT contractor employees
•  Assist with monitoring the progress and status of pre-inspection and tree work completion
•  Perform database “sleuthing” to identify issues
•  Assist with Agency meetings and field visits to review VM work as directed by the PG&E Program Manager
• Assist with management of projects
• Coordinate contractors to meet program goals (including obtaining permits, scheduling, conducting field meetings and performing project set up in the field)
• Assist in management of the contract review process while enhancing safe work practices in the vegetation management program by providing periodic instruction and observation.
• Provide effective leadership to the vegetation management team to ensure individual contribution and team success supports corporate goals by communicating the overall direction and performance expectations, in compliance with the APM and labor contract.
• Promote customer satisfaction by providing an effective interface with internal and external customers, establishing reasonable expectations up front, and then meeting expectations.
• As requested by Manager, performs all necessary duties for emergency response in accordance with all safety requirements, law and regulations, and applicable labor agreements.
• Adheres to personal appearance standards and makes a positive personal impression on others. Adheres to attendance policies and faithful in coming when scheduled and conforms to work hour requirements.

Qualifications:

• A two-year degree in Forestry, Horticulture, Arboriculture, Environmental Studies, Conservation, Natural Resources, or related fields AND/OR
• Two years experience in line clearance tree pruning work or equivalent as determined by the PG&E Representative
• Familiar with arboriculture techniques and practices, proper integrated pest management practices, PG&Es tree pruning specifications 5404
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office [Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook] or similar software suite

Key Responsibilities

This is a dynamic role within GFG Finance to partner with GFG Account teams on pricing, profitability, and cash flow.  The candidate is the primary finance focal for all GFG Account teams supporting executive read-out on pricing at key business reviews and LOC / PBMC.  The candidate helps each account deep dive their pricing performance and work with Accounts on specific action to close gap. A successful candidate should also support the adoption of CRP and new pricing metrics into existing business processes including in large order deals, SEM and SIP.

• Schedules and drives pre-LOC with BM heads to finalize pricing and CRP alignment
• Presents deal CRP for LOC approval and highlight keys gaps and plans
• Drive CRP data cleanliness with Accounts to closure
• Evaluate deal performance post-negotiation relative to approved
• Documents any unresolved deal CRP differences for management review
• Supports data preparation of Account pricing scorecard at QAR / SEM reviews

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

• Manage the C&W Services maintenance team at the distribution center.
• Allocate job plans, leveraging experience and judgment to achieve departmental goals.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to team members, maintaining high standards.

Operations:

• Formulate standards and work procedures, providing feedback on work order discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee applicable codes, standards, and specifications for equipment and processes.
• Develop and implement QA/QC inspection protocol for work personnel and tasks.

Communication:

• Act as a liaison between the maintenance team, Account Manager, Planners, Customers, and Department.
• Foster positive customer and employee relations.
• Communicate with team members to support the development of short and long-range goals.

Performance and Compliance:

• Ensure Maintenance department objectives and key metrics are met.
• Achieve performance expectations set forth in performance appraisals.
• Demonstrate leadership and sound judgment in decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or a related field AND transferrable management experience (3 years minimum).
• Reporting Key Performance Metrics (KPI) for a team of 10-15 associates.
• Working knowledge of repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency in the use of basic/power tools, shop math, pneumatics, power transmissions, parts nomenclature, measurements, and fasteners.
• Ability to operate and knowledge of simple and complex heavy industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, scissors lifts, and boom lifts).
• Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends, as demanded by the job. All AMMs will work 4x12s. Shifts available include FHD, FHN, BHD, and BHN. Front Half is Sun-Wed and Back Half is Wed-Sat. AMMs should open to any of the shifts.

Proactively builds and manages an assigned portfolio of mass affluent clients across multiple branch locations. • Uses a consultative sales process to develop strong customer relationships; acts as client’s trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
• Proactively works with assigned customer portfolio to uncover needs, provide solutions, and identify additional sales opportunities.
• Makes key recommendations on products, pricing, and services; links customer to business partner experts based on key financial decisions.

Summary

Under the direction of the VP Operations, oversees the Environmental, Health and Safety program, ensuring that all regulatory permit obligations are completed on schedule and all personnel are trained as required to ensure a safe and efficient workplace. Participates in Teledyne EHS team calls and initiatives and reports required metrics. Participates in the long-term strategic planning process for Operations including space planning and other facility projects required to support production capacity and ensure facility operations run in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Manages daily facility operations including project management of infrastructure installations, preventative maintenance and repair services, and other upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
 

Environmental, Health & Safety (70%)

• Manage Environmental, Health & Safety program, including acting as Environmental Safety Leader and Radiation Safety Officer.
• Coordinate training programs to instruct personnel in the proper procedures for use of radiation generating devices, high voltage equipment, and hazardous materials prior to use, at periodic intervals (refresher training) and as required by changes in procedures, equipment, regulations, etc.
• Perform annual audits of the safety program to ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations.
• Ensure that regulatory permitting and periodic reporting is completed on schedule including oversight and management of Hazardous Waste, Stormwater and Air Quality programs.
• Implement and maintain Disaster Recovery Business Continuity, Injury Illness Prevention, Respiratory, Environmental Management System and Health and Safety Management System plans.
• Coordinate with Human Resource and Manufacturing teams to organize and conduct Job Hazard Assessments.
• Participate in Teledyne EHS team calls, projects and report required metrics, and implement EHS initiatives (Safety Share, Safety Day, Safety Video).
• Carry out procedural tests (e.g. spill tests, fire drills, disaster recovery checks).
• Lead regular EHS committee meeting, provide minutes and actions and ensure these are completed promptly. 
• Coach and support area owners to manage risk assessments and manage day-to-day health & safety issues.
   

Facilities (30%)

• Provide project management for facility maintenance, service and construction projects including: define scope of work, manage vendor bids, create schedule, coordinate and manage vendors, and manage project execution through completion.
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
• Inspect the buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
• Review utilities consumption and propose and implement plans to minimize costs.
• Manage and coordinate external contractors (janitorial, groundskeepers, plumbing, electrical, technicians, etc).
• Control activities such as parking allocation, waste disposal, building security (together with Security Manager).
• Participate in space planning and allocation activities.
• Negotiate and maintain service contracts.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist the Property Manager with the overall operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
• Assist the Property Manager with providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
• Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
• Track and evaluate advertising, and all client traffic.
• Assist the team by maintaining and modeling the Cushman & Wakefield mission to be the best national management company.
• Assist the Property Manager with the day-to-day operations of entire on-site team, ensuring that all Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures are being followed.
• Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching team as necessary.
• Maintain residents' files in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
• Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
• Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.

COMPETENCIES:

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.
• General office, bookkeeping and sales skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
• Determine leasing opportunities of staff and work on goal setting – improving the performance of each staff member.
• Supervise day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that all C&W policies and procedures are being followed.
• Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.
• Be able to manage a team.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

IMPORTANT EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

Le rôle du Gestionnaire, Meilleurs Pratiques en électrolyse (Smelting), consiste à supporter les alumineries d'Alcoa dans le monde entier, principalement dans les Amériques (Canada, US, Brésil). Relevant de la Directrice Excellence Opérationnelle en Électrolyse vous aurez à assurer la maximisation des performances des usines :

• Suivre les indicateurs de performance pour assurer la détection hâtive de problématiques et mettre en œuvre les correctifs de concert avec les opérations.
• Fournir un soutien technique aux projets de croissance et de développement et amélioration de technologie.
• Déployer et améliorer les meilleures pratiques
• Soutenir la planification stratégique des alumineries.
• Assurer l’ingénierie de procédé et la mise en service des améliorations.
• Encourager le déploiement de nouvelles technologies de production.
• Appuyer les opérations pour assurer la réalisation des objectifs de production.
• Faciliter le transfert des meilleures pratiques entre les sites.
• Faciliter l'élaboration de feuilles de route d'améliorations des sites.
• Identifier les améliorations essentielles à la réalisation des plans.
• Faciliter l’intégration de nouvelles sources de matières premières ou avec des propriétés différentes.
• Être le soutien technique et opérationnel de premier niveau pour les usines qui lui seront attitrées ainsi qu'en support ad hoc aux autres usines.

Ce que vous apportez au rôle

• Baccalauréat en Génie et 15 ans d'expérience avec un minimum de 5 ans dans des rôles de leadership technique dans un environnement de fabrication de procédés
• Technique électrolyse et les opérations (organisation de travail – bon influenceur – traduire les connaissances techniques en objectifs opérationnels)
• Connaissance approfondie des opérations de fabrication / production en électrolyse de l'aluminium.
• Vaste expérience en gestion de changement, maintenir de bonnes relations d’équipes.
• Connaissance approfondie des systèmes de contrôle des cuves
• Sens de l’analyse et être stratégique.
• Parler et écrire en anglais est essentiel car c'est un rôle mondial.
• Voyage jusqu'à 50%

Manager - Best Practices - Smelting

About the role

The Manager Best Practices Smelting’s role consists of supporting Alcoa's aluminum smelters around the world, mainly in the Americas (Canada, US, Brazil). It is an opportunity for you to help fulfill our purpose and realize our vision to reinvent the aluminium industry.

You will need to ensure that your assigned sites are operating at optimal levels by determining the gaps between best practices and actual practices in primary aluminum production.

Reporting to the Smelting Manufacturing Excellence Director, you will provide operations support to ensure location plan attainment:

• Monitor performance indicators to ensure early detection of problems and implement corrective measures in conjunction with operations.
• Provide technical support for growth and technology development and improvement projects.
• Deploy and improve best practices
• Support the strategic planning of aluminum smelters.
• Ensure process engineering and commissioning of improvements.
• Encourage the deployment of new production technologies.
• Support operations to ensure the achievement of production objectives.
• Facilitate the transfer of best practices between sites.
• Facilitate the development of site improvement roadmaps.
• Identify improvements essential to achieving plans.
• Facilitate the integration of new sources of raw materials or with different properties.
• Be the first level technical and operational support for the factories assigned to it as well as ad hoc support for other factories.

What you bring to the role

• Degree in Engineering, and 15 years’ experience with at least 5 years in technical leadership roles in a process manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing Excellence.
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing/production operations in Smelting.
• Extensive experience in leading change, building relationships, and working collaboratively through people without direct line authority.
• Extensive knowledge of the pot control system
• Strong analytically with a strategic mindset.
• Speaking and writing in English is essential since it’s a Global role.
• Travel up to 50%
