The Group CFO has the overall responsibility for the strategic planning, implementation, managing and running of all the financial activities and actions of a company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance. The Group CFO is a member of the Executive Committee.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all financial processes and matters, including cost accounting and controlling, preparation and monitoring of budgets and rolling forecast, monthly closing, and timely preparation of financial reports according to policies and regulations

Requirement

• MBA in Finance
• At least 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields.

Role description
Working as part of a Category team that operates as part of an overall Global Technology Sourcing team. Making an ongoing, tangible contribution to cost efficiency and commercial/contractual risk management, through:

2. Market Research and Analysis
   • Conduct detailed research on the investment and tourism markets in Singapore and Southeast Asia, particularly regarding venture capital (VC) activity and startup ecosystems.
   • Regularly compile reports on market trends, industry status, and relevant investment opportunities for Korean startups.
   • Derive insights from the activities of startup support organizations and competitors from other countries, such as Japan or Korea.
3. Expert Networking and Partnership Building:
   • Build and maintain a strong network of industry experts, including global corporations, multinational companies, VCs, and asset management firms.
   • Develop strategic alliances with key players in the tourism and investment sectors to foster opportunities for Korean startups.
4. Event Planning and Support:
   • Organize and oversee events related to Korean startups and VCs, particularly in Southeast Asia.
   • Participate in startup-related conferences and events to build relationships and promote KTO’s mission to support tourism startups.
5. Data Management:
   • Maintain comprehensive data on Korean and Singaporean startups, investors, and experts in the tourism and startup ecosystems.
   • Develop and manage a directory of companies, experts, and relevant stakeholders.
6. Facilitating Investor and Buyer Matchmaking
   • Actively match Korean startups with potential investors or buyers in Southeast Asia, ensuring consistent follow-ups and progress tracking.
   • Identify investor needs and help facilitate meetings between startups and investors.
7. Additional Responsibilities
   • Collaborate on other startup-related initiatives and tasks assigned by KTO Headquarters or the KTO Singapore office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Investment, or related fields. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, investment, tourism, or a related field, with a focus on supporting startups and facilitating international expansion.
• Proven track record in building strategic partnerships and networks with global companies, particularly in Southeast Asia
• Strong understanding of the Southeast Asian investment market and startup ecosystems.
• Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of Korean would be an advantage.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
• Experience in event management is an added advantage.

The Director of Revenue Management is responsible for leading the development and implementation of revenue strategies, techniques, best practices, and driving total revenue management across the Hotel. He/she is responsible for pricing, inventory management, and analysis in line with Hotel and MOHG standards and policies.

Major responsibilities

• Proactively manage inventory for the Hotel to maximize revenue in all areas.
• Ensure a consistent and rational pricing and yield strategy across all channels and all segments according to the MOHG pricing guidelines.
• Accurately prepare Monthly and Weekly Forecasts for all transient segments, group, and other business units.
• Participate in the preparations of the transient and group rooms budgets, with the input of sales and contribute to the development of the transient and group portion of the Hotel's marketing plan.
• Proactively provide data to the team for the purpose of analysing and evaluating specific business segments, specific accounts, market segment mix (Group vs. Transient and its sub-segments), room type demand, channel production and geographical mix, recognizing trends and patterns.
• Proactively analyse and communicate business trends and booking pace to revenue team in comparison to the market, last year, forecast and budget.
• Continually analyse transient demand, price sensitivity and booking patterns, recognize trends and their relevance to one another and provide pricing, inventory and selling strategy recommendations.
• Assist in providing recommendations for Corporate and Leisure account strategies based on past production and future expectations.
• Assist in developing 3-month, 6-month, and 12-months strategic action plans for the management of the transient revenues.
• Work with the Sales Department and define booking terms, conditions, and allotments for all transient segments.

Job Requirements

• Degree in related discipline
• At least 10 years of related revenue management and optimization experience, preferably with an international luxury hotel chain company
• Excellent understanding and experience in revenue management and pricing strategies
