POSITION SUMMARY

The Facilities Director acts as the lead representative for the organization’s Facility Management section. Has 24/7 accountability for the Construction and Engineering department. Has overall responsibility for the safe operations and maintenance of all buildings and grounds that are own and/or operated by Marshall Medical Center.

Plans, organizes, and executes construction project management efforts related to the development of new buildings, major and minor renovation of infrastructure and support facilities of the hospital and other organization campuses. Responsible for plant operations and equipment maintenance, facilities and grounds maintenance; and Hazardous Materials and Waste program (including the Asbestos Management Program), Supports the Space Management Committee, which manages the space use allocations for the organization. Assumes financial responsibilities for the departments including department budgets and Construction in Progress (CIP) budget preparation and reconciliation for the organization.

Responsible for the Life Safety, Utilities Management and Fire Prevention programs in compliance with the Joint Commission and Environment of Care standards.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Licensure/Certification:

REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) is required, preferably in the field of electrical, mechanical engineering or construction related field or has 3 years of direct experience working in a healthcare facility in a management capacity in facilities management or support services department.

• *Must meet all DMV requirements listed below. A California (B) License is preferred.

PREFERRED:

• Membership in California Society for Healthcare Engineering (CSHE), American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) or American Society of Healthcare Environmental Services associations (AHES)

• Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM). Master’s Degree in Health Administration. Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP). Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC).

Knowledge:

• Three (3) years of experience in leading the planning, designing and oversight of construction management projects in healthcare facilities.

• Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience.

• Must be knowledgeable of regulatory agency requirements including Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), NEC and National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA). California Department of Health Services (CDPH), Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD).

Job Description:

• Direct the WMS/WCS program including managing our technical strategy, roadmaps, and implementations.
• Provide project management plans including scope, resource, risk, schedule management, and status reporting for our WMS/WCS technology implementations by leveraging tools and methods that support tracking the work, delivery work, and evaluation of the performance of our delivery.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for planning directing, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating divisional financial operations in a manner consistent with company strategies and initiatives. This position serves as a key advisor to the divisions' senior leadership on matters relating to operating strategies and financial outcomes. Specific responsibilities include establishing and achieving long-range goals, monitoring and achieving financial outcomes, and providing leadership to direct reports. Coordinates and evaluates an effective and efficient financial and management reporting infrastructure that provides the foundation to facilitate sound financial and operating decisions for each component of the division's delivery system, and for the delivery system as a whole. This coordination will require optimal use of people, process, and technology to maximize reporting capabilities, accessibility, and timeliness.

3. Evaluates and provides recommendations on divisional capital acquisition proposals to ensure the proper deployment and utilization of Banner assets within the delivery system; maximizes return on capital investments, facilitates sound capital acquisition and replacement strategies, and coordinates effective and efficient asset evaluation processes.

4. Participates in maintaining an effective internal control environment to ensure that assets are safeguarded, policies and operating procedures are followed, necessary controls are effective and efficient, proper compliance with existing laws and regulations achieved, and operations comply with the legal and regulatory parameters in which it operates.

5. Holds management staff accountable for achieving plans and performance targets. Works with them to identify and resolve issues and problems impacting financial performance and operations. Acts as a catalyst for change to support the adoption of new initiatives that lead to improvements in care and service. Develops staff to ensure continued professional growth and the availability of future finance leaders. Articulates and demonstrates an expectation for continuous quality improvement utilizing processes that include consideration of all stakeholders. 6. Maintains relationships with various regulatory bodies, industry leaders, and others as appropriate to ensure proper compliance with existing laws and regulations and to help maintain viable operations and ensure proper representation of company interests and safeguarding of assets.

7. Reviews, prepares, analyzes, and presents reports and recommendations to senior management regarding operations and/or other applicable areas of interest in order to provide concise and accurate information that aids in decision-making.

8. This position is accountable for leading, developing and maintaining an effective financial infrastructure for the region. Has latitude to determine how to best accomplish defined goals for the organization. This position requires the skill to influence management at all levels in the creation of an environment of choice in a fast-paced, growth-oriented healthcare system. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess strong business acumen as normally obtained through the completion of a master’s degree in business, finance, accounting or other related degree or equivalent level of education and experience. Membership in industry organizations or other credentials that show ability to network and obtain peer acceptance.

Please note the starting target base salary range for this specific position in San Diego, CA is between $175,000 - $225,000 annually.

The base salary represents BMO Financial Group’s hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.

Role Mandate:

The Director, Regional Sales ETFs is responsible for selling and servicing BMO ETFs and ETF-based mutual funds in an assigned geographic region, assisting BMO GAM in meeting annual plan sales and revenue targets.

The role is responsible for developing sales of BMO ETFs and related ETF based products through direct sales activity and through multi-channel partnerships in the assigned region.  A core component of the position is creating effective partnerships with the assigned BMO Global Asset Management Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).  The ETF Specialist role provides the RSMs with sales support, promotional assistance and education on BMO ETFs and other BMO ETF related products.

Accountabilities:

Sales and Service

• Drive sales of BMO ETFs in conjunction with a cohort of RSM’s to meet and exceed annual plan targets
• Foster a sales culture of goal achievement and superior customer satisfaction;
• Coordinate BMO ETF sales activities within the assigned region
• Provide ongoing sales support and product specific training to the assigned region’s RSM team
• Partner with each of the region’s RSM’s to assist them in their individual BMO ETF sales efforts
• Assist each of the Regional RSMs in achieving their sales targets
• Champion all opportunities to enhance local financial advisors’ BMO ETF product knowledge; represent and promote BMO ETFs and ETF-based products at conferences and forums.
• This role further collaborates with the BMO’s multi-channel sales partners (Retail and Discount channels) to act as the subject matter expert with regard to BMO ETF products.

Relationship Management

• Create and manage advisor relationships within the assigned region to ensure optimum representation of BMO ETF solution set and products.
• Develop a database of qualified financial intermediaries within the region who have the potential to sell BMO ETF products.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with third party referral sources (i.e. brokers/dealers) to maximize BMO ETF market presence and increase our market share.
• Provide subject matter expertise to the senior sales management team on market conditions and trends to maintain a high level of environmental awareness.
• Ensure a thorough understanding of competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats.

Planning & Strategy

• Implement the national sales plan within the geographic sales region including preparation and implementation of an annual territory business plan including promotional budget, to meet annual growth and retention targets.
• Provide strategic direction and business planning for BMO ETF products within the region.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures by identifying potential gaps and providing input and recommendations on Product launches and initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with sales management on regional sales strategies, priorities, sales targets, performance standards, marketing plans and accomplishments.

Authorities

• The role has authority to access and utilize all ETF product and Financial information (where applicable)

Cross-functional Relationships:

• Sales & Service – The role has authority to request and apply product knowledge information from other functional areas of BMO Global Asset Management as required in order to serve customers
• Coordinating – This role works with other areas of BMO Financial Group as needed to help generate ETF and other sales, and liaises with external network groups to understand the competitive landscape and other company product offerings, and to improve product offerings

Scope and Impact:

This role has direct impact on the achievement of key LOB objectives.  Key numerical measures are as follows:

• Annual Sales Plan: ETF Products

• Individual and team growth in knowledge of ETF solutions and products

Knowledge:

• Undergraduate University Degree in Business or Finance
• Minimum 5 years of brokerage, financial planning or related investment sales experience, including minimum 2 years in a wholesaling or related role

• PFP or CFP or CIM or FCSI or CFA
• In-depth knowledge of investment products and markets, including competitive market and trends
• In-depth knowledge of sales strategies
• Ability to take in knowledge and resolve a magnitude of diverse, complex and ambiguous issues
