To carry out planned and reactive maintenance to all services, grounds and vehicles ensuring that all Health & Safety, regulatory and company standards are met.

Your main responsibilities will be to inspect and evaluate contract services, coordinate with managers, instructors, and others to provide equipment and materials needed within the care home environment, source and purchase good quality supplies and materials whilst being cost effective.

You will be working in an environment, which supports service users with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and associated complex health needs, to live the life they want to within our services. You will support the managers of these services by ensuring a safe environment for the service users, scheduling repairs and maintenance so there is minimal disruption the service users.

You will respond to emergency repair situations immediately considering health and safety requirements and solutions for repairs or replacements. You will need to perform skilled duties in the operations, maintenance, and repair of buildings and grounds areas

About You

· You will be kind, compassionate, empathetic and comfortable to work in a care home environment

· You will ideally have knowledge of maintaining and repairing electrical and plumbing systems

· You will ideally be comfortable to assist with painting and decorating, plumbing and carpentry work, maintaining electrical equipment and fire alarm testing as required

· You will be able to perform preventive maintenance on equipment and building facility systems

· You will undertake regular checks for leaks within the water and for proper operation of boiler, water heater, furnace and refrigeration

· You will report any potential hazards to the Registered Manager

· You will maintain gardens in line with health and safety regulations

· You will be willing to take on any additional responsibilities on behalf of the service as instructed by the facilities manager

Your new role

You will be working as part of a team, performing several business-critical accounting services tasks for the UK and Ireland each day, including Payments, Cash Allocation and APAR. Reporting to the Accounting Services Manager, you will primarily support the team in respect of Claims Management Company (CMC) requests for data and information, ensuring that accurate and timely information is provided to internal teams.

• Timely response to emails regarding CMC information requests from internal teams
• The ability to work with multiple sources of data across multiple systems to extract the relevant information.
• Presentation of information and data in an accurate and understandable format, including to senior management
• Liaising with team members and multiple internal stakeholders to review existing processes and implement efficiencies.
• Create reporting and tracking of CMC information requests.
• You may also be required to complete other tasks as required by the Accounting Services Manager relating to Payments, Cash Allocation and APAR responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed

• High level of numeracy and accuracy, including completing complex reconciliations
• Ability to analyze data and present to management.
• Good communication skills with colleagues and external partners at a range of levels, including senior management and stakeholders.
• Excellent Excel (i.e., Lookups, Pivot Tables, Graphs etc.), Word and PowerPoint skills are essential.
• Knowledge of SAS and SAP is desirable.
• Part-qualified accountant preferred but not essential i.e., AAT, ACCA, CIMA

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team and cover high street commercial properties. As a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of air conditioning systems in various commercial environments.

Responsibilities:

Conducting routine maintenance and servicing of air conditioning systems in high street commercial properties.

Responding to emergency breakdowns and troubleshooting air conditioning issues.

Carrying out repairs and replacements of faulty components and parts.

Conducting system inspections and providing recommendations for improvements or upgrades.

Maintaining accurate records of work carried out, including service reports and equipment documentation.

Collaborating with clients and colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer, preferably with experience in commercial properties.

Sound knowledge of air conditioning systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.

Familiarity with various brands and models of air conditioning units.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Full UK driving licence.
