**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RGN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**

As a Nurse your key duties include:
• Deliver prescribed care to a defined group of patients that reflect their individual needs
• Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse. This includes the evaluation and review of these plans, with the patient/Service User, on a frequent basis, that is reflective of their needs
• Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the Care team
• Build relationships and effectively communicates and engages with external professionals and stakeholders
• Accurately communicate with, observe and engage with residents/Service Users in order to assess need and evaluate progress
• Understand and participate in relevant quality improvement processes and clinical governance
• Provide accurate information about care in an accessible format to residents/service Users and their families

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Skilled in general nursing with the ability to prioritise effectively
• Willingness to embrace new learning

SUPPORT WORKER

o You will help to ensure that Walsingham Support's care is of high quality and person-centred. As a Support Worker you will help to ensure that care is tailored to the needs of each individual and based on their lifestyle.
o As a Support Worker, it is your duty to ensure a high quality and well maintained environment for those we support.
o Each Support Worker is expected to work from a care plan, providing help with day to day living tasks. This might include personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, providing emotional support, social interaction and visits to activities in their communities.

Family Support Worker :

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced female Support Workers to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a supportive, close-knit team providing care for two adult sisters in a family home. We are looking for individuals who have experience working with clients who have brain injuries and physical disabilities.

As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of these individuals by providing personal care, supporting with daily living activities, and fostering an environment that promotes their safety, well-being, and personal growth. You will work closely with a team of 4 staff members during the day and 2 staff members overnight, providing continuous, high-quality care 7 days a week.

Due to the location of the property, access to your own vehicle and a valid driving license are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, dressing, and mobility support.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals at all times.
• Support and encourage participation in a range of activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
• Follow and implement individualized support plans tailored to each client's specific needs and goals.
• Collaborate with parents and other Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) involved in the care and support to provide holistic care.
• Monitor progress, document observations, and report any changes in behaviour or concerns to the appropriate parties.
• Attend appointments and support clients during various therapy sessions such as hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and SALT meetings.
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and respectful environment to promote social interaction and personal growth.
• Provide both waking and sleeping night shifts as required, with a mix of long days, weekends, and night shifts as part of a rotating schedule.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience working with clients who have brain injuries and physical disabilities is required.
• A genuine passion for supporting others to reach their full potential.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients effectively.
• Patience, empathy, and flexibility are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dedicated team.
• A positive, professional attitude and a commitment to high-quality care.
• Due to the clients' specific requests, only female applicants will be considered for this role.
• A valid DBS check and relevant safeguarding training are desirable (if not already held, will be required).
