About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Care Coordinator to join the Croydon Early Intervention Service (COAST). The post is open to nurses, OT's and social workers.

The post-holder will conduct assessments of newly referred adults to the Early Intervention Service who are experiencing First Episode Psychosis (FEP). They will undertake the responsibilities of a care coordinator within the Care Programme Approach for a defined caseload of service users and their carers. They will provide evidence-based psychosocial interventions and will focus on engagement, recovery and social inclusion as well as addressing physical health care needs.

The successful candidates will be experienced registered professionals who are able to demonstrate a specific interest in working with people with developing psychosis.

1.Assessment: To be responsible for the assessment of newly referred adults with First Episode Psychosis and the subsequent presentation of findings to the wider team. To work with diagnostic uncertainty, providing ongoing comprehensive assessments and outcome monitoring for all service users within caseload. To undertake risk assessments regularly, involving all other health professionals/agencies involved. To ensure that risk assessments are regularly updated, are meaningful and are reflected in care plans.

2)Engagement: Assertively outreach difficult to engage clients. To meet service users regularly, as far as possible at a venue of their choice, be this at home, CMHT centre, education, work or recreational establishments to assist with engagement and encourage participation in treatment
delivery as well as facilitating independence in all aspects of daily living.

3)Support:To provide ongoing care coordination of a designated caseload of service users who will be experiencing their first episode of psychosis. To provide support and advice in relation to service users regarding the issues concerning them. To work collaboratively with service users focussing on a recovery approach. Provide information to help clients make informed choices.

COAST is a multi-disciplinary team providing a comprehensive service to people who may be experiencing psychosis for the first time, living in Croydon. To ensure all interventions are age appropriate and that care is sensitive to the needs of black and minority ethnic service users. To provide low intensity CBT and Mindfulness interventions under supervision. To provide psycho-education to services users. 6)MDT Working:To work in co-operation with members of the multi-disciplinary team and all other relevant health professionals to assess, develop, implement and evaluate high quality packages of client centred care. To form effective relationships with inpatient services to facilitate early effective discharge. To take part in all clinical meetings.

7)Communication:To maintain accurate clinical documentation on designated caseload ensuring case notes are up to date as per guidance and in line with electronic patient journey system. To ensure effective verbal and written communication with all involved with delivery of care. This is an exciting opportunity for qualified CWPs to develop as a Senior Wellbeing Practitioner and supervisor, who will have been qualified for at least two years by January 2024.

This is a training role within the Children and Young People's Improving Access to Psychological Therapies programme (CYP IAPT). We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legacy and Individual Giving Officer. You’ll lead on our Legacy and Individual Giving strategy and be part of a group of outstanding fundraisers.
Working closely with the Senior Public Fundraising Manger, you will plan and develop engaging supporter communications and products across multiple channels to multiple individual audiences, including acquisition and retention.
You will create and implement all aspects of legacy fundraising and administer legacy cases in line with best practice - communicating with executors, solicitors and all other aspects of estate administration.
In this role you will also plan, project manage and deliver a full programme of Individual Giving appeals to optimise response rates and lifetime value.
Based in Surrey, the Orpheus Centre is an independent specialist college and charity that focuses on developing independence skills through performing and visual arts and makes dramatic improvements to young disabled adults’ lives.
We believe that every young disabled person should have the same opportunities as their non-disabled peers and we offer a personalised study programme focusing on building independence, communication and social interaction skills through the arts, supported housing and a personal care service.
35 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Essential qualifications, knowledge and experience:
Educated to A level standard or equivalent
5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) or equivalent including Maths and English OR demonstrable literacy and numeracy
At least 3yrs experience delivering fundraising projects
Experience of using and maintaining databases, especially CRM systems.
Experience using Microsoft package in particular word and excel.
Has worked as part of a team
Customer service experience
Basic knowledge of Gift Aid and how it applies to financial donations
Knowledge of different methods of fundraising
Understanding of charity legislation in relation to fundraising activities, in particular GDPR
Good communication and presentation skills
High levels of accuracy in written materials and data entry
Excellent organisational skills with ability to work on own initiative under pressure & without direct supervision
Excellent interpersonal skills
Able to build and maintain good working relationships with people
Able to prioritise, plan and organise own workload including demonstrable experience of managing a diverse workload and working to strict deadlines under pressure
Numerate
Good IT skills including email and data recording

About the Role This is a great opportunity to play a significant part in the college and make a difference every day. As HR Advisor, you will support the Head of HR and work as part of the HR team to provide a highly quality, business focused, flexible, and operational HR service across the College.
About You You will be highly organised and a good problem solver. You will also be expected to demonstrate flexibility in your approach, along with great communication skills. You will need to be competent using IT and systems and have the ability to work accurately, with good attention to detail whilst meeting deadlines. You will have had experience as an advisor and knowledge/experience of safer recruitment. A CIPD qualification or working toward it will be advantageous, as well as previous experience working in HR in an Education setting.
