The incumbent serves as a Visual Information Specialist with primary responsibilities in graphic design, audiovisual production, web content, social media, reproduction and desktop publishing for the West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System and its affiliates. • Supervising and training employees regarding varied capacities of the HVAC systems such as duty cycling, start/stop time optimization, auto restart time-of-day scheduling, peak demand limiting, maintenance work order generation, reset application, air delivery equipment optimization, enthalpy optimization, record log keeping of monitoring applications, and alarm status of the multitude of programmable alarm functions throughout the facility.
• Reprogramming the HVAC portion of the energy management system main computer console and separate "stand alone" remote control units with various software updates as they become available from the supplier and economically benefit the Medical Center.
• Establishing an air conditioning systems management program that will meet all requirements of VHA and TJC. What is the job role?

We have 1 full time Lecturer level 1 permanent position available on the 16 – 24 Study programme for Coventry Adult Education

The lecturer level 1 will be required to deliver a range of accredited and non-accredited qualifications. Delivery is face-to-face in a classroom environment with a group of 8 -10 learners. Many of our learners have Educational Health and Care Plans.

The deliver will be up to 3 days a week, delivering a range of sessions according to your expertise which could include Functional Skills in Maths and English, GCSE Maths and English, Entry level 3 Customer Service, Level 1 Employability, Personal Growth and Development, ESOL and ICT.

Tutors can discuss at interviews the above sessions that need to be taught and any preferences of delivery and qualifications.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for 1 enthusiastic Lecturer level 1 Tutor to join our Study Programme team. In consultation with the Study Programme Manager and subject tutors, you will deliver sessions to individuals or small groups of young people with a range of special educational needs.

You will support learners with additional learning needs enabling them to participate as fully as possible in the Study Programme.

You will be responsible for maintaining learner records and individual learning plans, as directed by the Study Programme Manager. You will support young people who experience anxiety in returning to education.

You will work as part of a dynamic team to ensure that learners are supported in addressing their educational and pastoral issues, liaising with other colleagues and agencies as appropriate.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant experience of working as a tutor and supporting young people.
• A Functional Skills/GCSE maths and English qualification at Grade C/4 or equivalent.
• A relevant teaching qualification at level four minimum
• Relevant Employability and Customer Service Knowledge

The Adult Education Service is part of Coventry City Council. We provide a wide range of courses for Coventry residents age 19+ and much of our provision is targeted at people with the highest levels of need.
