Safely and effective perform a variety of image guided MSK interventions with or without consultant supervisors dependent on level of experience. Participate in the hot MSK radiology rota in overseeing MRI examinations, dealing with MSK related queries and reporting of in patient cross sectional MSK examinations (with or without supervision dependent on level of training). The MSK Imaging fellowship is a one-year post-radiology CCT training program. The fellowship provides clinical experience across a full range of disorders affecting the adult musculoskeletal system. The program includes the application and interpretation of the full range of MSK imaging procedures including radiography, fluoroscopy, US, CT, MRI, MR arthrography and image-guided percutaneous biopsy. There will be the opportunity to gain experience in CT intervention including image guided spinal intervention for pain management and MSK cryoablation cases. There are several orthopaedic and rheumatologic meeting including soft tissue sarcoma that fellows can participate in. There are two fellowship positions, start dates in February and August.

The post will include one session a week of dedicated research time and fellows will be expected to produce at least one peer reviewed research project over the course of the year. There is also opportunity for one session of paediatric MSK radiology if desired.

We have two 1.5T MRI scanners, a 3T MRI and four CT scanners ranging from 128 multi-slice systems and a dual source CT. Orthopaedic out-patients and elective surgery are based at the BGH where there is a third 1.5T MRI scanner. There are MSK ultrasound lists running at both sites offering diagnostic and therapeutic image guided biopsy and injection services.

There may be opportunity to contribute to additional paid reporting sessions for those interested.

About The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support Cavendish school in Liverpool with students aged 5-11 years with Autism Spectrum Condition (A.S.C) and special education needs (S.E.N) from the ages of 5 to 11 years.

Responsibilities

- To support the class teacher in order to ensure the delivery of a high-quality education for all students
- To provide relevant and appropriate support to students, on an individual or group basis, in order to enable them to access the curriculum as independently as possible
- To support the class teacher in organising the classroom, its resources, student groupings and displays to provide a stimulating learning situation appropriate for students with ASC / /SCLN /Complex Needs
- Work with and manage sensory needs, enabling learners with a ‘sensory diet’ and / or to adopt self-regulatory strategies as appropriate and advised by the professional team.
- Assist some learners in developing or refining their ‘independence’ skills, which may be inclusive of assisting with personal care elements.
