We are looking for a Caretaker to join our team covering the Kent area. Our Caretakers provide an essential service to ensure the quality of the environment within our estates and communal areas.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining the estate and communal areas to a high quality cleaning standard and maintaining a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents and members of the public;

Summary of Tasks & Responsibilities:

Attend to cleaning tasks in compliance with schedules and frequencies defined for each estate

Report Emergencies, communal repairs and any incidents of vandalism

Keep Internal and External areas free of graffiti

Manage bin areas including disinfect, rotate position for collection, deep clean etc.

Act as a point of contact for residents and ensure good communication is kept with all teams and departments.

Identify hazards and complete risk assessments on a daily basis and take remedial action as necessary.

Grit estate access paths and roads when snow/ice expected.

To comply with any COSHH regulations which apply to cleaning materials that are used.

The ideal candidate for the role;

You will be the point of contact for managing radiology requests in patient pathways following a suspected cancer referral. You will co-ordinate with the clinical and administrative teams to arrange the next steps in the pathway and will communicate these to the referring team, cancer pathway navigators, MDT co-ordinators and patients as appropriate.

You will be expected to attended face to face meetings at Maidstone Hospital and travel to Tunbridge Wells Hospital when required.

The role is demanding so you must be confident, assertive and have the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure. You will need good listening and communication skills and be able to deal with people both internally and externally in a sensitive and professional manner. The ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to Trust policies is paramount.

You will have experience in patient pathway management and will be confident using patient administration systems. Excellent team working, organisational and communication skills are all essential for this post, along with clear experience of resolving problems.

Keep machines in good working order, reporting issues to the Engineering Team.

Working in the IT Business Team on continuous improvement, development, and introduction of new ways of working to ensure the business systems are as efficient and fit for purpose as possible.

This role involves extensive usage of various systems, with the ERP system (Prophet) being a key feature. Thus, an understanding of SQL, Report Writing, and Business Intelligence tools is a must.

Training and guidance will be provided on each of the specific applications.

ISS is an expanding business, and as such, there will be a number of projects that this role will play a key part in delivering.

There will be a requirement to spend time across all 3+ sites in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with site teams to enhance data capture, management, and visualisation processes.
Manage the ERP QC Inspection Sheets system, ensuring timely and documented changes.
Oversee the implementation and development of various systems.
Conduct comprehensive testing for ERP upgrades and manage the testing plan.
Assist with complex database maintenance and document workflows.
Prioritise multiple projects and manage escalated issues with urgency.
Qualifications:

Proficient in ERP systems (preferably Prophet).
Strong SQL querying skills.
Experience with report writing (preferably Crystal Reports).
Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (preferably Qlik, Power BI).
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
