• Responsible for preparing the relevant costing information and analyses for operational management.
• Maintain production cost controlling processes: on SKUs level, production orders by all components (RM, speeds, wastes etc)
• Deal with operations KPI controlling on a frequent basis: actual performance in general and by product , group, machine etc versus standard/targeted
• Control and update the Bills of Materials, Master data to ensure accurate costs and meticulously review costs for any discrepancies
• Prepare the pre- post calculation analysis with advice of areas for improvement
• Update the standard costs and ongoing monitoring and updating of inventory levels (including stocktaking)
• Regular internal reporting of defined operational key figures (e.g., waste, efficiency) and development of related measurement systems/processes
• Develop decision-making bases, creating and improving existing analytical tools & systems (e.g., cost analysis, PMDB).
• Assist with financial month-end closing activities (e.g., inventory valuation, management information systems, cockpit).
• Support commercial/pricing team with right checked costing
• Support and collaborate closely with local operations manager with transparent analysis and areas for improvements
• Support in new product development, optimisations in costing areas
• Support of the annual budgeting process and forecasts
• Controls according to the internal control system (CSA) and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• A degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Purchasing or a similar discipline would be needed.
• SAP preferred or other manufacturing ERP system experience - the business are rolling out a new SAP program next year - experience with SAP will help with that.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of CO (Product Cost Controlling) / MM modules in SAP.
• Knowledge of production costing: cost elements and cost center accounting, material routine, bills of materials, production processes and production order settlement etc.
• Result oriented and action-minded, hands-on mentality
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

The Role;

Assistant Field Care Team Leader based in Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and surrounding areas. As an Assistant Field Care Team Leader you will assist overseeing the quality and development of a team of care assistants and be a key point of contact for carers, liaising with carers and organising effective and appropriate service support for supervising a team of Carers out in the community. You will have responsibility for ensuring the quality and continuity of service delivery, including periods when Carer/ Support Workers are on leave or attending training. As an Assistant Field Care Team Leader you will assist with monitoring and reviewing care plans, and ensuring all clients care visits are running to the high standards expected. Carrying out supervision’s and Spot Checking of care staff.

The Candidate:

The Assistant Field Care Team Leader will have a background in health or social care gained within a care setting. You will possess a NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent or be willing to work towards QCF level 2 and then progress onto level 3; you will be computer literate and be able to work as part of a team, you will be self-motivated with outstanding communication and organisation skills. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Mechanical Technician will ideally possess good mechanical problem solving skills and have the ability to work under pressure. The Mechanical Technician will support the Production units by utilising specialist knowledge and skills to undertake scheduled maintenance as well as responding to breakdowns during normal working hours and out of hours as part of an on call rota.

To be considered for the role the applicant must:

* Have served a recognised Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering
* A Suitable period of work experience gained in heavy industry

Are you the right person for the job?

• It is desirable that the successful candidate has previous experience in within the vehicle maintenance industry from a customer service perspective, to include an understanding of statutory compliance for vehicles more than 3,500kgs
• Applicants will have excellent communication skills, both face to face, written, and via the telephone

• Be computer literate, knowledge of Kerridge and 1link systems will be an advantage

What will your role as a Vehicle Maintenance Controller look like?

• Report to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager working as part of a valued team
• Dealing with customer maintenance enquiries, breakdowns, franchised dealerships, and independent repairers
• As part of a busy maintenance team, your focus will be on delivering first class service in an efficient cost-effective manner
