Qualifications
• Level 4 Qualification in a relevant subject (HNC/Foundation Degree - Engineering)
• Assessor Awards (D32/33, A1, or AQA)
• Teaching Qualification or willingness to undertake qualification
Experience
• Minimum 10 years in engineering, with 5 years in assessing
• Successful experience in assessing NVQs and supporting students
• Compliance with Health and Safety legislation
Skills
• Excellent communication skills for diverse interactions
• Ability to lead students to successful course completion
• Proficient organization and administration skills
• Problem-solving ability and initiative
• Utilisation of full ICT facilities supporting the learning process

What will your role look like?
• Manage a caseload of 30 to 35 apprentices across various Engineering standards
• Utilize OneFile and Moodle for e-portfolio management and training delivery
• Conduct remote assessments, guiding apprentices from Initial Assessment through to End Point Assessment
• Collaborate with the assessment team, ensuring adherence to curriculum guidelines
• Monthly progress reviews via MS Teams and reporting to the Curriculum Lead
