As an Assistant Head Housekeeper you will be responsible for;

• Creating an environment where your team aspire to achieve the highest of standards of cleanliness. Encourage and motivate the housekeeping team on a daily basis to complete all tasks to an exceptional quality.

• Inspect accommodation (up to 75 rooms per day including stay-overs) and public areas cleaned by Housekeeping staff to ensure that Champneys exacting standards of hygiene and cleanliness are met and maintained at all times.
• Acquire and maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of the Health Resort including its services, layout, procedures and services.
• Communicate positively and maintain effective working relationships with all staff, colleagues and internal departments and work as a team in order to resolve issues efficiently.
• Along with the Head of Housekeeping, take responsibility for housekeeping staff recruitment, inductions, training, and management, addressing issues as they arise in the moment and escalating issues to the Head of Housekeeping as required, consulting with HR regarding company procedure.
• Retain and keep safe lost property, dealing with this as appropriate and ensuring it is returned to its owner when appropriate.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated, and dynamic Senior Therapy Radiographer (Band 6) to join the team at our cancer centre in Macclesfield. The Macclesfield unit is the first Christie satellite centre with radiotherapy and chemotherapy departments and is therefore able to offer concurrent chemo-radiotherapy treatments. The department also delivers complex radiotherapy techniques (e.g. SABR and SGRT) using state of the art equipment. Consequently, we can offer a wide range of treatments to local patients, as well as varied development opportunities to radiographers.

The post holder will be based at the Macclesfield site in East Cheshire but, will be expected to work across all Christie sites as required.

This is a rotational post and you will have the opportunity to work across treatment and pre-treatment sections of the department.

Successful applicants will be highly motivated and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to developing themselves and helping develop our service.

What you bring:

• The successful applicant will aid in ensuring compliance within the area through administration of documentation, training records, and governance reporting while supporting business needs.
• Proven experience working in a pharmaceutical or similar regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of GxP requirements and a ‘Right First Time’ mindset, promoting quality and GMP culture.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and technical document writing experience.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to analyze information systematically.
• Resilient and flexible, able to work under pressure, take initiative, and continuously develop through learning opportunities.

Your New Company
A well established family-owned manufacturing business operating from the head office in Blackpool, is now searching for a Business Support Officer to help and support the operations and sales department on a permanent full-time basis. You will be responsible for day-to-day movement of all materials despatched, transport and all other relevant documentation.The working structure of this role is Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm with an hour's lunch break.
Your new role

• As Business Support Officer, your role will include running reports, filling, answering phone calls and e-mails both internal and external.
• Any other reasonable task requested by the directors would also be included. Along with the preparation of orders for dispatch and other customer specific requirements, i.e., quality certificates, label requirements.
• Order transport as required and liaise with freight forwarders and carriers, printing of batch sheets and labels. Whilst also liaising with production, warehouse, planning, purchasing and sales.

What you'll need to succeed

• To be successful in securing this position, you should be self-motivated, positive, ambitious and hardworking.
• You must be comfortable working within a small team and confident to engage with office and external staff to build strong relationships.
• This role requires a lot of data entry tasks; therefore, you should have good attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, including additional IT skills (including Microsoft, such as Word and Excel).
• It is imperative that you have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Please note, previous experience within Administration is required.
