Your new role
You will be initially tasked to drive best practice across the business, working on standardising controls, processes and management reporting across multiple legal entities. You will drive strategic direction and operational leadership to achieve efficiency and success. This will include building a robust, disciplined control framework and service delivery model, whilst maintaining a continuous environment of improvement by setting performance goals within the team. You will be the key decision maker in defining new ways of working alongside the Director of SSC and driving best practice around behaviours and the culture.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with previous experience of dealing within large complex accounting structures within a Share Service Centre which has gone through change and/or transformation. You will need to have strong communication skills and be able to adapt and communicate with colleagues/stakeholders at various levels. You'll have a strong personality, produce competency and behaviour frameworks, with the ability to influence and drive decisions in a large finance team.

Your new role
You will be tasked initially with developing the already high performing Qualified team, alongside supporting the Group Finance Director in driving standards across the group controls and processes. The role will include adhering to a strict time line to produce a robust Group consolidated P&L month-end close, alongside management of the Group consolidation process and reporting output, with the associated commentary. Driving for insightful reporting and preparation and the reviewing of Group interim and statutory accounts and UK subsidiary statutory accounts will also be key in this role.
