Your Duties Include
? Take responsibility for audit/assurance engagements from start to finish, including completion of own work, delegation of work to audit team members, and review of audit work papers, reporting to Directors
? Conduct/assist in financial statement audits across variety of clients (listed companies, large/small companies, incorporated associations) in a wide range of industries
? Conduct/assist in other audit & assurance engagements (eg independent accountant reports, internal control reviews, QBCC reviews, AFSL engagements, trust account audits)
? Preparation of General Purpose and Special Purpose Financial Statements & Reports
? Company secretarial matters including lodgement of ASIC forms
? Completion of work to time and cost budgets
? Drafting of correspondence including reports, management letters, advice, bills etc
? Assist in developing relationships with clients
? Being up to date with technical matters, and able to give technical assistance to audit team members and clients
? Conduct/assist with administration of audit & assurance practice, including engagement scheduling, quality control, fees & budgets, audit methodology
? Responsible for all aspects of managing client portfolio including scheduling of work, staffing of assignments and all client contact
? Supervision & training of graduates and intermediate team members
? Other duties as directed

You Will Possess
• At least a bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Suitable post-graduate qualification, preferably Chartered Accountant (CA), however Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) will also be considered
• Strong technical and analytical skills;
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years audit experience;
• Solid understanding of the Australian corporate landscape;
A remuneration package will be offered that is commensurate with your experience and skills that demonstrates your ability to successfully perform the duties listed above.
Salary offered: $75,000 - $85,000 + superannuation
