Mobile Phone LCD Screen Refurbishment Technician

About you: This role will be perfect for you if you like working in an isolated/quiet role and find that repetitive work is something that you embrace. Pop your earphones in and your favourite music on whilst you work!

Requirements for the role: You must be nimble fingered, so dexterity is a must, your experience may include previous replacing of mobile phone screens but if not, anything similar that takes a lot of care and attention to detail i.e. jewellery making or other crafts working with intricate and small parts. Your hand to eye coordination will be excellent.

The role description: This is a brand new role for the business, repairing mobile phone screens involving carefully removing the LCD screen/display panel from the body of the phone, cleaning the screen and making sure that all OCA (glue) is removed along with any marks such as fingerprints and smudges.

As part of this operation will involve working within a clean room, a room that has been created to be free from airborne dust and particles that would interfere with the process, you will be provided with protective clothing such as overalls and hairnets (particularly if you have long hair).

You will be reporting to the Senior Technician and there will be ongoing support and training as necessary. The team is likely to grow in numbers due to the demands of increased business in this growing company.

Monday to Friday 39.5 hours
