An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Orthotics Admin Office Supervisor in the Orthotics Department at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
The post holder will be responsible for providing supervisor support to the Orthotics Admin team as well as administrative and clerical support to a busy team of Orthotists.
The post-holder will ensure that all service users have a positive experience of the services we provide. We are looking for an independent, enthusiastic and well organised person to join our busy team. You must have strong interpersonal and IT skills. The successful candidate will be based within a small team, providing support for each other and ensuring continuation of service at all times. Multi-tasking and prioritisation is a key feature of the post. Experience of supervising/managing staff, as well as conducting appraisal and working flexibly to cover for absent members of staff is a must.
Duties will include: dealing with frequent telephone enquiries and face-to-face queries, processing referrals and other documents, recording and validating activity on PAS systems, and liaising with internal stakeholders.

This role will primarily be focused on being the office supervisor for the administrative team and well as supporting the Orthotists within the Orthotics Department at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
Duties will include: completing timely returns on an individual level relating to sickness and absence, performance and as required on behalf of the team, to carry out appraisals and appraisal reviews of A&C / reception staff, to ensure training needs and learning opportunities are acknowledged and supported for the team, tofully utilising clinics, cashing up clinics, managing the Orthotics inbox, recording and validating activity on the PAS systems, and liaising with internal stakeholders. Good understanding of relevant legislation, e.g. Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Data Protection, Confidentiality is desirable. A sound working knowledge of ICS, MediTech and/or C-Scribe is an advantage but not essential.
