The Emergency Department at Salford Care Organisation is looking for an enthusiastic individual to carry out secretarial duties and rota coordination.

In this role you will be working closely with Senior management to provide effective, confident and efficient secretarial duties and clinical rota coordination.
You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, good attention to detail along with the ability to build relationships.
As an A&E Medical Secretary / Rota Coordinator you will be working closely with Senior management to provide effective, confident and efficient administration service. You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to build relationships.
To be the first point of contact for telephone, emails and face to face enquiries.
To provide diary and email management, arrange appointments, meetings/events and interviews.
To prepare agendas, book rooms and take minutes.
To order and maintain equipment/ stationary stocks.
To maintain internal filing and systems to effectively manage workloads.
To ensure that the clinical rota is always up to date and that any amendments are recorded in a timely manner.
Liaising with clinicians and senior service team to accurately coordinate the clinical rota.
Alerting the appropriate consultant promptly to referrals, x-rays and other diagnostic results arriving in the department. Where possible, identifying issues that require the urgent attention of the Consultant and his/her team.
Meeting and greeting external visitors to the department, i.e., Pharmaceutical Representatives, visiting consultants, external auditors etc.
Building good relationships with the rotational Junior Dr’s.
Assisting in the delivery of departmental inductions for Clinicians.
To be the first point of contact for telephone, emails and a range of face to face enquiries.
Answer a range of enquiries from external agencies eg; GP’s, Police, etc.
