Letham Primary School and Early Learning Centre and Riverside Primary School are both situated in the Craigshill area of Livingston. They are part of the Inveralmond Learning Community.
Both schools work hard to provide an inclusive and nurturing environment for children and their families in an area of economic and social deprivation.
Our parents are very supportive of the school and through regular opportunities parents engage in the wider life of the school and have provided effective feedback to move our school forward.
At present the school has a Collaborative Leadership Model which consists of a Headteacher, two Deputy’s and four Principle Teachers.
This Admin Assistant role will be based in Letham PS but deliver administrative support across Letham Primary School and Riverside Primary School. The successful candidate will carry out financial and administrative operations, following West Lothian Council policies and procedures, in order to ensure the effective day to day running of the school and working closely in partnership with staff, parents and learners.
This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
