To support our portfolio we would like to appoint an experienced Design Manager who is dedicated to delivering outstanding results and lead our Infrastructure and Facilities projects to join our Project Delivery group in Townsville or Darwin (relocation available from within Australia). In this role you will lead design and delivery of complex projects in collaboration with a group of multi-disciplined professionals and; Support our clients in the planning and delivery of significant facilities and infrastructure projects Oversee the delivery of projects and the development of team members to achieve successful outcomes for both our clients and GHD. Lead a multi-disciplinary project design team from feasibility through to construction, looking after all design delivery requirements including all technical aspects, legislative requirement, budget and time schedule. Work closely with our clients, communicating design ideas, developing design philosophy and creating long term business relationships. Monitor and manage change during the design delivery and construction stages. What you will bring to the team: If not locally based, be willing and open to relocating to Darwin Degree qualified in Engineering or a relevant discipline. 10 years’ experience working with multi-disciplined design teams on infrastructure and facilities projects Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build trusting, valuable relationships with people across all levels of business. Excellent leadership qualities with the attention to detail and time management A collaborative and inclusive working style Be driven to achieve and deliver outstanding results.
