The Design Consultant will not only be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing interior spaces but will also play a crucial role in increasing sales of the company’s ready-made and custom-made furniture lines. This position requires both design expertise and sales insight, as the ideal candidate will work closely with clients to integrate furniture solutions into their designs while promoting our product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop interior design concepts and create mood boards, integrating ready-made and bespoke furniture options.
• Present furniture solutions to clients, highlighting the benefits and unique features of our custom and ready-made pieces.
• Source appropriate materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with design aesthetics and client preferences.
• Create 2D and 3D visualizations, floor plans, and renderings that showcase how our furniture can enhance client spaces.
• Work closely with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of design plans and furniture installations.
• Monitor and analyze sales data related to furniture, suggesting improvements or new approaches to boost revenue.
• Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our furniture products, including materials, manufacturing processes, customization options, and pricing.
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create content (e.g., lookbooks, design inspiration) that showcases our furniture offerings.
• Participate in furniture sales events, pop-up shops, or exhibitions to attract new customers and generate leads.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and furniture manufacturers, ensuring design specifications are accurately communicated and met.
• Oversee the customization process by working closely with manufacturers to ensure the adhesion to timelines, materials, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience (+10 years) as an Interior Designer with a focus on furniture sales or a similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, including examples of furniture integration.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and 3DMax.
• Excellent communication, sales, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of furniture design, production processes, and materials.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects while meeting sales targets.
• Strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to understand client needs.
