About the Role:
As a Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions that align with the organization's IT strategy and business goals. You will be responsible for the entire cloud journey, from evaluating cloud providers and migration plans to ensuring security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud deployments.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy for the organization.
* Evaluate and select cloud providers based on specific needs and budget constraints.
* Design, build, and test secure and scalable cloud architectures.
* Migrate applications and data to the cloud following best practices.
* Configure and manage cloud infrastructure and services.
* Monitor and optimise cloud performance to ensure efficiency and cost savings.
* Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful cloud adoption.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies and trends.
* Develop and maintain cloud governance policies and procedures.
* Develop and execute strategies to migrate and manage the cloud management platform from third party vendor
* Develop roadmaps to maintain and enhance the cloud management platform application code
* Develop and execute roadmaps to develop and deploy cloud based platform and software services
* Develop and execute strategies cloud automation programs to optimise and improve efficiency
* Mentor and develop talents within the organization to improve continued support.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience in cloud computing technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Experience is Apache CloudStack is an added advantage.
* Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
* Experience with cloud migration and deployment strategies.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills.
