Role & Responsibilities:
- Organise and lead mechanical engineers to fulfil numerous orders and projects.
- Developing designs from concept through to production intent.
- Creating CAD models and fully detailed engineering drawings using GD&T.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
MUST HAVE:
- Mechanical Engineering degree, either BSc/BEng or MEng.
- 7+ years' experience.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software.
- Rotor dynamics - Shaft stress analysis
- Balancing
Essential Skills in any of the following areas:
- Computational Fluid Dynamics
- Motor drive architecture
- Motor design and/or electronic enclosures
- Electronic power device functionality/Cooling methods
- Carbon fibre/Magnet retention
- DFM/DFA/DFV.
- DFMEA.
