An exciting opportunity has arisen at Langley School, as we are introducing a new position of Head of Performing Arts to encompass our Music and Drama departments.
Both Music and Drama are very popular subjects at the school, particularly at GCSE level and within the co-curricular programme.
Music and Drama are taught to all pupils in Years 6, 7 and 8 and then offered as option subjects from Year 9 upwards. The new Head of Performing Arts will have the opportunity to influence the curriculum offer in KS4 and 5.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an ambitious individual who will continue to develop our successful departments and deliver a stimulating and well balanced academic and co-curricular programme for our pupils.
We welcome applications from specialists in Performing Arts, Music or Drama who will have the ability to lead across both subjects. The successful candidate will demonstrate the qualities and expertise essential to lead and motivate our specialist staff; inspire and motivate the pupils and ensure opportunities for all our pupils to enjoy the Performing Arts.
