How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?
As our new Domain Architect, you’ll be a vital part of the IT Technology and Architecture Team and will be instrumental in designing and delivering a fit-for-purpose future-ready Application Architecture for Aurecon. You will be ensuring that the applications and their integrations in the Technical Design Engineering portfolio are poised to work together and align with Aurecon’s IT and Business strategies.
Contributing to the Application domain, assessing the current state and performing gap analysis to determine future areas of focus and defining key architectural artefacts required to underpin and mature the architecture practice.
Creating, owning and driving strategy, roadmaps, Business Process and Technical Reference Architectures for the Integrated Delivery Platforms portfolio and clearly communicating and championing strategic outcomes to stakeholders.
Driving the adoption of architecture principles, standards and frameworks within projects, ensuring that solutions are pragmatic and future-proof to ensure that Solution Architects have clear direction and support.
Collaborating with wide range of stakeholders to deliver Roadmaps which support transitioning to a target state, meeting business, functional and non-functional requirements.
Line management responsibility for Solution Architects and Solution Engineers and manage ongoing portfolio resourcing requirements enabling successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Application Development, Integration, Support and Project Delivery Teams.
Build and manage strong relationships across key stakeholders and working with vendors and 3rd party suppliers as required.

You will bring your skills and experience in similar Architecture roles. Specifically:
Demonstrated industry experience in design and engineering, ideally within a similar industry.
Significant experience in technical leadership, working in multiple Digital, Design, and IT areas, as well as working with geographically dispersed teams and time zones.
Deep knowledge of platforms and applications used in engineering visualisation, analysis, content production and management, integration and automation, and a passion for driving excellence in engineering.
Proven experience in application architecture, creating strategies, roadmaps, principles, standards and frameworks.
Significant experience addressing complex, technical requirements such as application modernisation, application integration, technical debt reduction.
Experience in analysing, isolating and interpreting business needs and designing appropriate technical solutions.
Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, strong communication and influencing skills, ability to convey technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
