There has never been a more exciting time to join UKAEA. We are growing rapidly as an organisation. This role could see you join the Communications team, which is integrated, hard-working, warm, and welcoming, and growing! The Communications team resides under the Business Development and Innovation division. The Creative Media Production Assistant supports the delivery of high-quality video and photographic content across the UKAEA, working closely with all departments to assist in the execution of the organisation's communication strategies. This entry-level role focuses on video editing and studio management, offering opportunities for skill development in videography and photography. Key Responsibilities: - Video Editing: Edit video content to a high standard using the Adobe suite, ensuring alignment with project goals and internal brand guidelines.
- Technical Assistance: Assist in setting up and dismantling technical equipment for photo and video shoots both on-site and on location. Work alongside the in-house photographer and videographer, providing support during shoots.
- Studio and Equipment Maintenance: Keep the studio organised and ensure all equipment is in working order, ready to use, and properly stored after use.
- Project and File Management: Organise, name, and back-up creative project files systematically. Ensure that the filing system is efficient and reliable for team use.
- Developmental Opportunities: Gain experience by handling smaller projects from start to finish. This includes understanding briefs, engaging with stakeholders, creating storyboards, planning and executing shoots, and incorporating feedback during the editing process.

The successful candidate will have a college level education in Media production or similar. Be open to learn and grow in the role. Have a good understanding of Social Media channels and what content works best for each channel. Experience Required You will have proven experience working - Basic skills in video editing software within the Adobe suite.
