The TGS Senior Functional CRM Architect based in Franklin Lakes, NJ (Remote) will report to the TGS Senior Director, North America and work with North America, EMEA, LATAM and Greater Asia Regions as well as individual business units and select global functions to match business strategy and needs with TGS technical solutions.

This individual will serve as a primary point globally to  deliver a technology roadmap aligned with advancing the commercial agenda of BDX collaborating with internal and external experts to ensure that the business is proactively provided with strategic thought leadership and bring the appropriate technology, process and workplace solutions together as they contribute to the commercial agenda of BDX.

The TGS Senior Functional CRM Architect will deeply understand the solutions and capabilities represented within a large enterprise environment in key technologies such as but not limited to Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Reltio, Oracle  CPQ and Salesforce CRMA, Adobe Marketo integration. This role is a consultative partner for our internal team members, focusing on understanding their goals and strategies and mapping solutions to business outcomes.

The TGS Senior Functional CRM Architect is responsible for using their knowledge of software programs and business strategies to help enhance productivity and communication working in CRM “Product Model” structure, and with commercial business analysts and technical teams to advance the CRM product.

• This is a hybrid role that requires you to be at your assigned worksite 3 days out of the week and up to 2 days from home. Local policies may apply. BD may change your work arrangement based on business needs.

Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Demonstrates leadership to ensure that transformation solutions recommendations are comprehensive and meet business objectives.

• Engage with multiple layers of contacts within the organization to gain insights into the environment.

• Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.

• Develop multi-functional strategies and solutions.

• Translates business and technical objectives into prioritized, phased solutions following an Agile framework

• Participate in the selection of software technology and product standards.

• Provide technology/architecture recommendations based on business relevance, timing, and deployment.

• Contribute to the design of operational processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance with policies and security requirements.

• Stay ahead of with new technologies and innovations and recommend adoption of new partners or solution components.

• Ensure project and initiative progress, including consistent and effective communication. This includes managing escalation and avoiding risk.

Experience:

• Life Sciences experience and 8+ years in IT 

Educational Experience: 

• Master’s preferred, Bachelor’s Degree required

The role will drive the creation and maintenance of enterprise business and technology capability architecture blueprints, integrated roadmaps, and enterprise standards that guide ACA’s strategic investments and enterprise initiatives.

The primary duties are:

• Drive and coordinate technology designs for large projects across multiple disciplines.

• Set technology direction through development of architecture, roadmaps, standards, and best practices.

• Create and maintain capability models, business architectures, and technology architectures.

• Lead resolution of lifecycle decisions on enterprise technology.

• Provide expertise to the significant project challenges, especially those spanning multiple projects, in the portfolio.

• Maintain a deep understanding of technology and information management approaches.

• Lead collaboration with solutions architects, other enterprise architects, and business users to gain enterprise alignment.

• Manage proof of concept activities to identify innovation and new technology opportunities.

• Provide mentoring and development of technical colleagues.

• In addition to having broad enterprise architecture experience, each role holder will have deep knowledge in at least one of the following key areas:
  • Infrastructure
  • Applications and application development
  • Data development and management
  • Business architecture development and management

• Participate in project architecture reviews, technolog strategic planning and annual project planning processes.

• Provide guidance and assistance to solutions architects.

• Maintain cross-system logical artifacts.

• Acknowledge and abide by Information Security Policies.

• Participate in PCI compliance activities as required, including providing evidence for quarterly and yearly audits.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Science or Engineering. BS or BA in other disciplines is acceptable, supplemented with adequate relevant experience.

• 8+ years of relevant experience.  Prior experience as a solutions architect is a plus.

• At least 3 years of experience with the core AAA business line products, services and benefits or similar experience in a related industry is preferred.

• Understanding of various architecture practices and methodologies.

• Understanding of ITIL processes and XaaS design and implementation; XaaS experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry trends driving change in the market.
• Strong situational analysis, conceptual thinking, and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to communicate with and influence technical and business colleagues, and technical and non-technical executives.

• Strong collaborative skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
