We have the opportunity for two roles working with people with care and support needs. The role is a Senior Support Worker, supporting service users who have enduring mental health diagnoses. The service is based in the Stalybridge area and provides a service for 17 adults of all genders. You will be based within a supported accommodation and work alongside the management team to ensure a high quality of service for the people we support. You will also work alongside the wider Tameside Mental Health senior team which might include occasional work at other nearby services.

You will have a level of responsibility to manage rotas and staffing needs as they may arise. You will provide direct supervision and observation to support staff in role as a senior support worker. You will have planned supervisions with your own line manager as well as access to training required to carry out and enhance your skills and knowledge. We're looking for a Senior Data Architect to join our Digital Technology & Data team on a 24-month fixed-term contract in Manchester. In this role you'll manage and develop our core business systems and reporting architecture, while making sure what we currently have in place meets our needs. You'll work in a hybrid way - splitting your time between home and the office (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

As a Senior Data Architect at Co-op, we'll look to you to help make the most out of our core business systems and reporting capabilities; allowing us to unlock the value of our data and drive decision-making. Working closely alongside our change portfolio, data teams, and enterprise architecture teams, you'll be responsible for the core business systems data architecture roadmap.

What you'll do

• Be accountable for our end-to-end core business systems data architecture
• Manage the core business systems data architecture strategy and roadmap
• Analyse the different process, data, and reporting demands from across the business
• Design data models, logical models, data pipelines, operational data stores and datamarts
• Develop and prepare functional specifications for data architecture
• Develop data architecture guardrails including the data reference architecture
• Work closely alongside colleagues to define metadata layers, technical strategy and optimal integration within our existing IT landscape

This role would suit people who have

• Experience working in a Data Architect role
• A proven track record of successfully managing data architecture within core business systems
• Experience working with enterprise data platforms, data warehouses and business intelligence solutions
• Experience in modelling and governing data in motion and data at rest
• A good understanding of SAP S/4HANA capabilities
• A good understanding of the finance and property management data domains

Your new company
It is an award-winning building services consultancy which provides mechanical, electrical and public health design solutions with a particular focus on sustainability. This practice boasts a comprehensive project portfolio of landmark projects including commercial and major healthcare and pharmaceutical projects. Due to some key project wins, they are now looking to expand the team by hiring an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with the view to put you on a promotion path as the business continues to grow.

Your new role
It is as a Senior/ Principal Mechanical Engineer that will excel in engineering design, the management of projects and the management of teams, working on multiple projects including multi-million pound schemes. You will support the directors with the ongoing development of improved standards and procedures within the company, whilst taking the lead in managing everyday operations utilising their many years' of experience. You will act as design lead on projects, promoting design excellence, and you will mentor and develop the skills of the engineers in their team. Leading by example, you will ensure the highest standards of health & safety and quality.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a strong technical core competence and background in project delivery. In addition, you will have a broad understanding of the principles of building services and other related building design disciplines and a desire to mentor and lead a team of Engineers.You must also be-

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services.
• Proven experience (6+ years) in mechanical engineering design within the building services industry.
• Experience leading and developing senior and more junior engineers.
• Comfortable in a client-facing role and willing to contribute to business development activities.
• Experience leading teams on large-scale and often complex projects.
• Experience in the delivery of all phases of a project from inception to completion, but specifically, design and quality control focused and dealing directly with the customer and project teams.
• Experience and awareness of major digital engineering tools, such as CAD/Revit. You will also have experience of delivering projects in a BIM environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ideally Chartered or willing to work towards
