Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, efficient application architectures based on LLMs for applications.
• Leverage RAG, vector databases, and prompt optimization techniques to build low-latency, high-concurrency model services tailored to internet applications.
• Work closely with product managers, NLP engineers, and data science teams to determine the optimal deployment strategies for LLMs in various business scenarios.
• Utilize the ReAct framework to support multi-step reasoning and complex task handling, enhancing the intelligence of user interactions.
• Establish workflows that integrate LLMs with user behavior data and knowledge bases to improve accuracy in recommendations, chat, and assistive functions.
• Lead and manage a technical team, including model engineers, NLP specialists, and data engineers, to ensure projects progress on schedule and meet objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, or a related field; a master’s or Ph.D. is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in AI/NLP application development and production deployment.
• Proven experience in companion mobile apps, with successful application implementation in the internet industry.
• Familiarity with mainstream LLMs, such as OpenAI, with experience in large-scale application deployment and optimization.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical team management, with a track record of successful team building and project management.
• Experience in cloud environments and containerized deployment, with expertise in designing and optimizing application architectures for high concurrency and low latency.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, and other mainstream programming languages, with hands-on experience in CI/CD and LLMOps.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills to drive effective team coordination.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, set clear objectives, and drive efficient execution.
• High degree of creativity and problem-solving skills, adaptable to the rapid changes and iterations in internet applications.

Summary:

The Senior Architect will lead and manage architectural projects from concept to handover, oversee construction documentation, ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, administer contracts, lead the Design Implementation (DI) team, and involve in office management.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertakes supervisory responsibilities for all projects from inception, conceptualization, and design to project completion.
• Monitors and manages execution of all projects through regular review of status and progress with staff from design to completion stages
• Conceptualize concept and schematic designs; Carry out feasibility studies and present design proposals;
• Prepares tender documentation, schedules and material specifications;
• Competent in construction details, and able to do design development;
• Have an intimate knowledge of Authority code and requirements;
• Monitor the status of authorities clearances / approvals
• Co-ordinate and controls drafting processes.
• Able to liaise and discuss project-relevant issues with clients;
• Able to liaise, coordinate and lead consultants and contractors;
• Able lead and manage a team of architectural personnels;
• Oversees progress of on-site work and resolves any arising issues;
• Ensures design quality.

Requirements:

• Recognized Degree in Architecture; preferably registered with the Board of Architects, Singapore;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural experience running BIM projects;
• Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices;
• Knowledge of computer 3D and presentation programmes such as Microstation, Revit, Photoshop and Sketchup;
• Flair in design, ability to sketch fast and produce good design concepts;
• Conversant with local codes and regulations.

What the role is

The Waste Infrastructure and Engineering Division (WIED) oversees the planning, engineering design and development of all NEA waste management infrastructure. ​ ​ ​ ​

What you will be working on

The officer will play an active role in the planning, development and management of future solid waste management facilities such as Waste-to-Energy plant and food waste treatment plant that will contribute towards the targets set forth under the SG Greenplan 2030. The work scope and responsibilities include the following:

• Develop the various waste management facilities, obtain planning approval and funding support
• Plan and implement project schedules to ensure timely project execution
• Administer the procurement process to select and appoint project consultants and contractors, including preparation of tender documents
• Manage consultants in carrying out feasibility/prelim design/detailed design studies
• Supervise consultants/contractors and carry out site inspections to ensure that the waste management facilities are developed in a timely and cost-effective manner, in compliance with the tender requirements
• Manage funding and budget planning cycles for projects
• Work and liaise with various internal and external stakeholders of projects

What we are looking for

• Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering is preferred. Applicants with degree in other engineering fields with work experience in a related field may also be considered.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in engineering will be highly preferred.
• Knowledge in solid waste management systems, project management and review of building plans and engineering drawings would be advantageous
