CACI's Mastodon Design team in Rochester, NY is looking to hire a Senior Sales Account Manager to join their team. Mastodon Design specializes in designing and building hardware and software to meet our customers’ next requirement. • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in the Intelligence and Federal Communities SIGINT / EW community representing Mastodon product portfolio
• Focus on CACI Mastodon SIGINT/EW initiatives that drive growth through market expansion, product expansion, and new technology developments

More About the Role

• Responsible for building/managing pipeline and accurately forecasting opportunities within account
• Manages Customer Relationship Management tool to track product sales and development opportunities within account
• Provides timely, accurate, actionable insights on market and budgetary trends, global threat environment, and competitors, to support Mastodon initiatives and product developments
• Collaborates with program management, product line management, and engineering on potential opportunities to drive growth in account
• Develops and maintains relationships with industry partners for potential teaming opportunities to expand growth in account

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

• 15+ years of operational experience operating SIGINT/EW systems in an operational environment
• An active TS/SCI clearance
• Detailed understanding of Electronic Warfare operations in all domains
• Detailed understanding of RF fundamentals, including but not limited to, propagation, detectability, and direction finding
• Ability to interact with the customer to understand the requirements of that customer and translate those to a Mastodon engineering requirement
• Ability to travel on short notice to support customer engagements and product demonstrations
• Understanding of foreign militaries and partnering relationships
• Ability to brief product portfolio to all levels within IC and Federal Account

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

• Experience with sales, front-end of the business, Face-to-Face customer interactions
• Familiarity with RF tactical communication systems, applications, and wireless networking.
• Familiar with data analytics market trends and applications
• Enjoys working with people, developing relationships and sharing knowledge

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Solution Architecture Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of software applications. They lead a team of solution architects ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and driving innovation and efficiency throughout the entire software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and experience driving the successful design and delivery of software. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:   

• Leads and manages a team of solution architects, providing guidance, coaching, and support. Cultivates a collaborative and high-performance work environment. 
• Fosters a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team. 
• Oversees the process of designing, developing, and implementing scalable and integrated technology solutions that meet business needs. 
• Assists team in defining system architecture, ensuring architectural integrity, consistency, and compliance with best practices and standards. 
• Establishes and enforces solution architecture governance processes and standards 
• Promotes modern agile work processes to solution architects and ensures delivery meets business requirements and delivers expected customer value. 
• Drives innovation and improvement by promoting adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies.  
• Assists in managing the work of multiple scrum teams, including planning, risk mitigation, resource forecasting, and delivery.  
• Drives operational efficiencies through oversight of continuous improvement/lean initiatives relating to business software applications systems.

• Manages creation and updates to system documentation in accordance with regulatory, financial, legal, and departmental requirements.  Develops standards, policies and procedures to guide developers and technical support personnel. 
• Manages the application development budget, tracks expenses, and optimizes resource allocation to maximize productivity. 
• Collaborates with adjacent managers, agile delivery leads, product owners, and business stakeholders to establish clear communication channels and ensure alignment on project goals and delivery timelines. 
• Performs additional duties as directed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• 8 or more years of Solution Architecture or Development experience  
• 2 or more years of relevant IT supervisory/management experience 
• SaaS and Customer-facing business applications experience preferred
