ABOUT YOU
As Global Chief Operating Officer you are responsible for maximizing the operational efficiency and delivery, profitability and performance of Bulletproof through the creation and implementation of appropriate strategies. You are responsible for effectively managing the flow of work through the business, making good use of the available resource and bringing in additional resource as required. You will manage and drive Bulletproof’s commercial, operational and working processes to support project delivery and day-to-day activities within the business.
WHAT YOU'RE HERE TO DO
Your main duties and responsibilities include:
Commercials
· Understanding and working towards the Company’s vision and business objectives
· Leading Directors and their teams to deliver the Company business strategy, taking responsibility for driving effective delivery of client work
· Creating the measures used to monitor the Company’s performance and contribute accordingly to meet them
· Considering issues relating to the company’s growth, taking into consideration team dynamics, client acquisition, new business areas etc. and offer suggestions for how the company could better achieve its objectives
· Acting as the glue between the departments in the business
· Scheduling potential workloads by forecasting upcoming jobs and scheduling current workloads
· Evaluating and verifying project requirements with the Client Business Directors
· Scheduling jobs, communicating priorities and project expectations on an on-going basis to all appropriate team members
· Working with Client Business Directors and other Directors to implement working practices to improve the day to day running of the agency, making the processes more efficient and reducing unnecessary costs
· Ensuring that project plans are in place with detailed deadlines and responsibilities
· Tracking and regularly reporting on internal and external costs (time spent, expenses, purchases) in order to make our processes more efficient and increase profitability
CREATIVE
· Championing the creative process in every aspect of your role and nurture it to strategic concepts that challenge the conventional with the unconventional
· Selling our creative products and championing our values externally to all stakeholders
· Ensuring rigor in our strategic thinking and ensuring it supports our creative products
CLIENTS
· Controlling overall freelance budget and third-party costs
· Proactively building best possible talent pool for us to draw on
· Identifying, contracting and actively managing strategic third-party suppliers
· Assisting pitch teams with delivery proposals and presentations
· Continuously improving overall quality, gross margin and flexibility to achieve best-in-class service to our clients
COMMUNICATION
· Motivating, inspiring and leading your team, fostering a culture of accountability and solution provision
· Supervising and managing your team
· Continually assessing, appraising and coaching your team; providing ongoing feedback to team members to drive the best performance
· Managing and driving personal development and career planning for your immediate team, identifying and providing appropriate learning and development opportunities
