About the Role
We are seeking a talented CAD Draughtsperson & GIS Operator to join our Property and Facilities Management Team. In this role, you will provide essential support to the Regeneration & Assets Team by producing high-quality technical and legal plans using AutoCAD and Geographical Information Services (GIS).
The successful candidate will also act as the primary administrator for the Council’s integrated Estate and Facilities Management System (TF Cloud), ensuring accurate data management and reporting.
Main Responsibilities
Utilise AutoCAD to create detailed technical plans and legal documents for property acquisitions, redevelopment schemes, and leases.
Assist with on-site surveys, capturing accurate measurements and producing scaled drawings to support the Regeneration & Assets Team.
Maintain and update the Council’s property database using TF Cloud and GIS software.
Gather and input data relating to the operational costs of Council-owned properties and produce performance reports.
Work closely with surveyors to prioritise tasks and ensure plans are completed accurately and within set deadlines.
Assist in preparing marketing particulars for property disposals, ensuring clear presentation of plans to aid decision-making.

Formal training and strong experience in using AutoCAD and GIS software (e.g. ArcMap).
A good educational standard, with a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English) and at least one A-Level.
Excellent IT skills, with a focus on attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to confidently and accurately articulate information to colleagues and stakeholders.
A proactive approach to managing workloads and delivering tasks within deadlines.
