You will engage with service users who receive support from our Manchester Learning Disabilities outreach service, building trusting therapeutic relationships, working to encourage a positive life outlook and coping skills. - You will support in the management of design contracts for the development and design of your solutions to address the requirements of a project.

- You will also take ownership for driving forward key innovation projects in order to enhance the solutions which Enterprise develop in order to explore the opportunities in the emerging DE Market, identifying key challenges and creative solutions to drive growth in the business.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- A good understanding of the energy industry

You will ensure a high standard of quality of life for the people supported working in collaboration with the women receiving a service as well as in partnership with agencies involved in the woman’s support and care planning.

Creative Support is proud to have been providing the service in Withington for over 25 years. In 2016 the service remodelled from residential service to support accommodation to meet the change in need of women leaving hospital settings
During this time the service model has been able to develop and progress with the experiences people living with mental health have. The service has emphasis on bespoke support planning and key worker relationships. The key aim is to support women’s recovery journeys and ensure pathways for greater independence are available and can be achieved.

The role will involve practical assistance with daily living, support and delivery/access to a wide range of activities that promote personal wellbeing. Day to day oversight of rotas and staffing needs as the y arise and excellent communication with line management/senior colleagues.
You will work flexible shifts on a rolling rota to meet individual needs in a personalised way. Experience of supervising staff is desirable. Prior experience and possession of a relevant qualification is desirable.

Creative Support is a not-for-profit organisation which provides high quality, person-centred support to people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs and dementia. We are seeking two warm, compassionate and proactive people to take a lead in providing person-centered care and support to our services users. The Tameside Extra Care services comprise of four extra care sites across the Tameside borough and we have a role at our Duknifield service and a role at our Ashton Under Lyne/ Hurst service. You will also assist the Extra Care Manager and Registered Manager in ensuring an empowering service which meets the needs of our clients and works with the service user’s families and friends to promote a positive atmosphere. You must be flexible, energetic and reliable.

Creative Support is committed to your continuous professional development and as a successful candidate; you will receive a full local and corporate induction, and attain a level 3 certificate in ‘Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care’. On completion of your probationary period, you will automatically be enrolled onto the NVQ level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. You will also have the opportunity to discuss your training and development needs during regular supervision and appraisal meetings.

You must be willing to embrace all aspects of the role including, but not limited to, providing support with personal care and domestic tasks, and supporting individuals to access work, education and social opportunities. We value the personal skills and interests you bring to the role and to the lives of the people we support, such as, sports and outdoor pursuits, creative arts, music, and cooking to name but a few.

You will be required to work in a flexible manner, on a roster basis, which will include evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. Previous practitioner experience in working with vulnerable adults is essential; however what we need most from you is gumption and a can-do attitude.
