You will be working for a leading Tier 1 construction contractor with exposure to a wide range of projects up to £15m in value across public and private sectors and will take a key role in ensuring design programmes and quality standards are met through the effective management of external partners, internal stakeholders and client representatives.

Your new role
* Responsible for the management and delivery of design information in accordance with the agreed design programme and deliverable schedule.
* Ensuring that appointed design consultants carry out their duties in line with their appointment, interrogating returns to ensure compliance with standards and briefs.
* Design input at both pre-construction and construction stage of projects.
* Assessing, mitigating and managing risks connected with design
* Ensuring design and design work meets health and safety legislation, sustainable building standards (such as BREEAM - the Building Research Establishment's Environmental Assessment Method) and industry codes of practice


What you'll need to succeed
* Demonstrable experience in a design role within a main contractor environment
* Good working knowledge of statutory regulations such as Building Control and the Building Safety Act.
* An understanding of the principles behind Whole Life Cost, Lifecycle Carbon Assessments and other sustainability measures.
* Relevant construction qualification (Degree / HND or equivalent) Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture etc
* Experience of BIM level 2 projects, including COBie data, LoDM

My client is looking for an OT Solution Architect to join a business-critical programme. The successful candidate will have a grounding in OT technologies and have a deep understanding of modern IT tools with the ability to tailor solutions to meet specific environment requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Solution Architect
• Strong working knowledge of Operational Technology.
• Confident working across high level designs (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD)
• Previous experience of designing and implementing the build and deployment of multiple hosts using Red Hat.
• Comfortable leading the design and management of a centrally controlled Privilege Access Workstation (PAW) using Microsoft tooling (e.g., Azure, Intune).
• Expertise developing the architecture for building and deploying hosts using Red Hat + KVM.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Kickstart, Ansible, and Satellite for efficient deployment and updates.
• Expert knowledge of protocols like MQTT and OPC for seamless data transmission
• Excellent stakeholder management communication skills.
