The AA Public Programme is the largest collection of lectures, exhibitions, publications, workshops, symposia, gallery talks, building visits and performances dedicated to contemporary architecture culture. Our programme of events brings together thousands of members, visitors, critics, staff and students to discuss new forms of architectural ideas, discourse and practice, not just in Bedford Square but online and in multiple locations across the globe. The role of the Public Programme and Exhibitions Assistant Curator is to provide administrative support and curatorial input, working closely with the Public Programme and Exhibitions Curator to realise the range of activities within the AA Public Programme of events, exhibitions and special projects delivered over three terms, with a few additional events during the summer. The appointed candidate will report directly to the Public Programme and Exhibitions Curator and is tasked with organising, coordinating and developing important cultural content at the AA. This includes the annual end of year show Projects Review, our programme of evening and lunchtime lectures, a programme of exhibitions in the AA Gallery, Front Members’ Room and on the corner of Bedford Square, as well as other special projects; ensuring that all these activities are widely promoted and disseminated through printed and online materials. The role will work closely with several departments across the school including the Communications Studio, the Audio-Visual Department, Outreach, Membership, Estates & Facilities, Digital Platforms, Catering, Bookshop, Photo Library and Archives, Visiting School and the different academic units and programmes to involve them in the cultural life of the school.

Role Overview:

The AA seeks a knowledgeable and experienced Human Resources Officer to join the current team of three to provide support on all aspects of the employee lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to utilise your HR knowledge on a daily basis providing advice in a wide range of HR issues. You will also be responsible for managing all the HR administration whilst being the first point of contact to your assigned dedicated academic schools and administrative departments.

This role is for a Digital Solution Architect to support the Customer Digital team. Your primary duties will involve crafting and executing inventive digital solutions that align with business goals and ensure outstanding user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with stakeholders to comprehend business needs and convert them into technical solutions.
• Develop complete digital architectures, encompassing web and mobile applications, APIs, and cloud services.

• Lead technical conversations and offer direction to development teams during all project phases.
• Stay informed about industry trends and new technologies to foster ongoing improvement and innovation.

Skills:

• Demonstrated background as a Solution Architect, specializing in digital solutions.
• Proficient in delivering applications aimed at customers.
• Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies, frameworks, and technologies (e.g., React).
• Practical experience with Azure cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Hubspot platforms.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively engaging with various stakeholders.
• Understanding of distributed data solutions and Unified-CRM concepts.
• Proficiency in working within Agile, DevOps, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation frameworks.
• Responsible for overseeing Business architecture related to Marketing & Sales, Customer Service, and other customer-facing digital solutions.
• Act as the technical lead in all client solution communications, ensuring progress throughout the implementation phase.
• Collaborate with other Solution architects and industry partners to supervise end-to-end solution or component design and implementation, providing technical oversight until transition into Production.
• Technical expertise in real-time services via APIs and other web services with millisecond requirements using SSL connectivity.
• Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is advantageous.
