An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Surveyor / Estimator with sales experience to join a well-established construction firm, offering basic salary of £22,500 and OTE £55,000 - £60,000plus excellent benefits

As a Sales Surveyor / Estimator, you will report to Branch Manager and engage with clients, assessing needs and tailoring product recommendations to provide seamless service in home installations.

You will be responsible for:

- Visiting customers in New Malden and neighbouring areas to take measurements and discuss product options.

- Advising on suitable solutions based on customer requirements and product knowledge.

- Preparing and issuing quotations.

- Managing emails and handling customer queries both in-person and electronically.

What we are looking for:

- Previously worked as a Sales Surveyor, Sales Estimator or in a similar role.

- Sales experience with a practical, hands-on approach.

- Ideally have experience working in the Garage Door/Construction Industry.

- Strong IT and communication skills.

- Valid UK driving licence.

Shifts:

- Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 5:00pm

- Saturday (onRota): 9:00am - 12:30pm

Location: North East (From Yorkto Newcastle)

Salary: £30k - £43k + Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Client:

Our client is an established construction firm, providing expert quantity surveying, building surveying, and project management services at competitive prices.

The Role:

As a Building Surveyor, you will be overseeing ongoing projects, directly interacting with clients, and collaborating with the management team to drive our business forward.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct detailed professional surveys, producing thorough reports and schedules.

- Advise on and report findings, including the need for further investigations or remedial actions.

- Manage client expectations effectively, keeping them well-informed on project statuses.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.

- Produce Part 35 reports and coordinate with legal teams as necessary.

Requirements:

- Previously worked as a Building Surveyor or in a similar role.

- Possess relevant experience and qualifications.

- Excellent communication, numerical, and report writing skills.

- Strong organisational and time management abilities.

- Ideally hold an AssocRICS status or working towards MIRCS.

- Valid UK driving licence.
