Graduate Estates Surveyor - PKC11953
£30,727 - £42,083 (Career Grade Structure)
Pullar House, Perth
You will assist the Team Leader (Estates) and the Senior Estates Surveyor in the provision of an effective and efficient property management service for both leased and vacant land and buildings.
The role will involve assisting with the annual statutory Asset Valuations, handling leasehold transactions including rent reviews, lease renewals and lettings together with undertaking valuations and any other general Estates surveying work.
The role will also involve the acquisition and disposal of property. All these tasks will involve working alongside a qualified Chartered Surveyor.
For purposes of connection and collaboration with colleagues and with the community we serve, our full-time employees work on site for a minimum of 2 days per week with the arrangements for part time employees being agreed on a basis which will ensure that they benefit to an equivalent degree.

Requirements
It would be advantageous to have a good knowledge aligned with relevant work experience in Property Management. Experience in using Property Management software would also be beneficial.
You will be required to train to be a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and work towards being a RICS Registered Valuer.
A degree in a property related discipline (MRICS accredited) would be desirable but not essential.
You must possess good written and oral communication skills, be able to work on your own initiative, take direction and work as part of a team.
The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and get on with people at all levels is essential.
You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
