Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our construction projects, focusing on creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that meet our clients' needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop design concepts that are creative, functional, and meet the client’s needs and budget.
* Create detailed plans, drawings, and specifications for interior spaces, including furniture layouts, lighting plans, and material selections.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and translate it into practical design solutions.
* Select and source materials, furniture, and decor that align with the design concept and budget.
* Work closely with architects, contractors, and other construction professionals to ensure the interior design is integrated into the overall project.
* Oversee the installation of design elements, ensuring that the project is completed according to plan and to the highest standards of quality.
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure that the design is being implemented as intended.
* Stay updated on the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies.
* Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and 3D visualisations to clients.
* Ensure all designs comply with local building codes and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Interior Designer.
* Extensive knowledge of interior design principles, space planning, and material selection.
* Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Strong creative and analytical thinking skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
