Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Package

Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Cambridge
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working on exciting construction projects. You will assist the Senior QS team in managing costs, contracts, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist in preparing and managing project budgets and valuations
• Support senior surveyors in contract administration and cost reporting
• Help manage subcontractor accounts and procurement processes
• Monitor project progress and provide financial updates to the team
• Contribute to risk management and cost control measures
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders as required
Requirements: • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or working towards)
• 1-2 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role (construction experience preferred)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, CostX, etc.)
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the role
