My client is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a £120m project based in East London. This is a key role where you will be responsible for managing the commercial costs and overseeing the procurement of specialist equipment required for the project.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the project is delivered within budget and in line with all financial and commercial objectives. The role requires a highly analytical individual with proven experience in cost management, procurement, and risk management, ideally within the rail or infrastructure sectors.

• Knowledge: Sound knowledge of NEC 3/4 Target Cost contracts and experience in procurement processes.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Multitasking: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Communication & Negotiation: Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

About the role of M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor

As an M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor you will have the chance to work with a leading MEP sub-contractor, with this project being based in North West London. Your previous experience working as a Property Account handler handling Real Estate/ Property Owners from inception to will contribute to your success and ideally having experience in Residential Property. Ideally, you will be CERT CII qualified or have progression towards Dip CII. You will have excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to develop and manage good working relationships with clients and insurers through building trust and mutual respect. You will provide great customer service by responding promptly to enquiries and concerns from clients and have outstanding industry and sector knowledge. Ideally, you will have some experience with Acturis.

You will also be expected to mentor and assist in training the more junior members of the team.

Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking Senior Property and Regeneration Lawyers to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to this position.

ROLE: Senior Property Lawyer
LOCATION: North London
CONTRACT: 3 months ongoing
RATE: £50.00 to £55.00 per hour

Please note that this would require 1 day per week office attendance.

The Role of the Senior Property Lawyer

• To progress a full caseload of complex matters through to completion
• Matters will include commercial, some residential and some Right to Buy transactions
• To undertake some CPO and regeneration worked if required to do so

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 2 years' PQE
• Experience in dealing with Commercial Property matters within a local authority would be essential
• Experience in Regeneration work would be advantageous
