Waking Night Support Worker – York YO26
You must be able to work over 24 hours per week and live local to YO26.
If you are passionate and have a genuine desire to help others, whether it is supporting people in social environments, going for afternoon tea or a Steam train ride in York, we are looking for Support Workers to come join our dedicated team to help support individuals live an independent and fulfilling life.
Real Life Options is a registered charity currently going through a period of growth, and we are continuing to search for permanent contracted Support Workers who really want to make an impact on the lives of the people we support.
The role
You will be assisting 3 gentlemen within this supported living service. Support will include working with individuals with behaviours of concern and epilepsy. You will be working on a 1-1 basis, therefore you must be prepared to work alone.
Your role will include support with; finances, shopping, cleaning, cooking, attending medical appointments and support with personal care. Due to location of the role having your own transport would be an advantage.
Previous experience is desirable for this position although full training will be provided.
An enhanced DBS is required for this role.
£11.44 per hour
Part time and Relief role also available
Shift patterns 8pm to 8am (12 hours shifts)
